I was also surprised. I didn't really prepare ahead of going out to shoot, so I ended up going out to film on three different days, And that's without having a Audi or Lexus dealerships to visit.
@benwinslow3101 this huge charge port flap was a bad idea. On the Cadillac Lyriq, it shudders as it opens, so looks kind of cheap. On the Blazer EV, it's really slow (probably to avoid the shudder) and as you saw, it remembers multiple inputs (it probably shouldn't).
I know you said you were looking for a CCS vehicle to go on a trip and experience the infrastructure.. May I suggest an I-Pace? I would love to see a more up-to-date review, since most of the videos on it are from the launch over 5 years ago. Especially as the used values keep dropping, they're getting dangerously close to the "why not" price range, and i love the way they look
That is a pretty great suggestion! I have a soft spot for the iPace, and you're right, it needs some public attention and Jaguar isn't doing anything with it. It may be a while before I can do something like this, though. I've got to get my business a bit more profitable first.
Curious what your online search of Tallahassee brings in numbers of available EVs new and used? Here in Vermont, I've only found total of 50 EVs available within 25 miles of me, 3 used options.
Or Polestar! In this video, I just stuck with physical dealerships in town. Tesla is building a Service Center that may also have a showroom. If I do this again in a year, I'll definitely include it. Also, it's ironic that I vidited all these in my own Model 3.
Those electric Nissans are overpriced to begin. That dealer you were at has the audacity to try to take on $3000 in b.s. fees. Those cars will be collecting dust there for a long time.
I didn't think of Tallahassee as an EV city, but there are a lot of them here!

Interesting to see the eCars that are on the lot in Florida. There are very few electric cars in dealerships here in Ontario.
A kona would be great in florida. The front wheel drive is a little bit of concern in snow, but would be great there.
Yes! And rear or front-wheel drive always gets you more range than all-wheel drive.
Laughing at the blazer chargeport flap mishap given all that's come out about the blazer in the last few days. Man I hope GM gets it sorted out....

@@DriveElectricWithDomenick understandable. I've been trying to keep an eye out for them on Turo when i go out of town, but no luck yet

If I search carsDOTcom, there are 100 newor used EVs within 20 miles of me. Increasing that to 30 miles gives me 105 results.
No Tesla in picture

Yup. There's a good reason why he has tons on his lot. I think I've seen an Ariya on Tallahassee streets twice now.
