I loved this from the first time I listened to it on vinyl. I was like: What planet is this from?! Sounded unlike anything I had ever heard before...And then the transition at 12:57 Whoa....
Un disco único y genial como pocos, el tecladista Patrick Moraz ,es el único disco que participo y dejo una huella dificil de comparar con los otros tecladista de Yes, uno de mis favoritos, con 62 años ,una ves por semana escucho este disco!!!!! Gracias Yes!!!! Salve salve rocanroll!!!!
THE MORE YOU LISTEN, THE MORE YOU KNOW, THE MORE YOU KNOW, THE MORE YOU LISTEN, ETC,...ETC...ETC,...12:44+++,...CLEARLY SPEAKS VOLUMES OF UNIVERSAL, BOUNDLESS, ETERNITY, AS ONLY "THEY" CAN. SOON OH SOON THE LIGHT,...
Loved this album. Rick Wakeman had quit because of the "Tales" album, and I did not expect such a quick comeback. I had just turned 20. They ended up hating Moraz and kicked him out. Saw Yes about 7 times, including the Relayer tour.
Having been a huge fan for 36 years it pains me to finally understand where they're muse is actually coming from. This song, Close to the Edge and Awaken all profess to the same source of inspiration. Breaks my heart. I wish I could have taken the blue pill and remained ignorant.
I was wonder just yesterday, how it would've been received if the lyrics had been released as a poem. There was often an irrational push back against prog just because it was prog, but for some reason "pretension" /s is A-OK in poetry. Except limericks.
A timeless masterpiece, as are many of this group's profound compositions,...yet as societies edge ever closer to numerous points of no return, especially where our planet is concerned; most of us deliberately refuse to grasp and act to immediately bring a halt to our self-destructive behaviors and practices, which will eventually lead to our decisive extinction, and since we evidently lack the courage and will to enact glaringly necessary changes, I suppose, that we will be most deserving of our extinction.
Que época años 70,si señorde los disco favoritos de Yes,tengo 65 años y como si fuera ahora mismo,si señor.
I have listened to this masterpiece for 40 years, love it even more now.

…What are you talking about?
Sublime!!!
Relayer and keys to Asuncion are the only two albums I have from the S and there’s a reason for that because they kick butt!!!
From 7:00 to the end is prog rock heaven. My fantasy is for them to go on with Moraz.
I haven't decided which one is better yet close to the edge or relayer
13:00 welcome to never never-land
🎼🌟
