I remember doing all 3 of these back in the late 80s/early 90s for TMEA all district/region/area and orchestra tryouts.
TMEA tends to have its favorites. I believe a couple of these were used 5-6 years ago, too.
What MP is that? Kinda looks like a GR but I’m not too sure.
Yeah, GR ca. 1998. Too bad he's closing up shop, but I think there are a few other brands to choose from these days. 😆
What mouthpiece do you use?
That's a GR Technologies 66L. I've been told GR is going out of business.
What exactly is rubato?
Rubato is the purposeful pushing or slowing of time and/or rhythm for musical effect.
You make it look too easy, I practice everyday and I’m nowhere near that good on any of them. Wow!
