I don't even have a 50 dollar C920 but I'm gonna like anyways. I think my webcam is an Astrum 720p. Can't remember.
I've been very happy using Samsung Galaxy S8 phones and HDMI capture cards.

I was just going to say that would be a nice comparison to see how the c920 compares to all of these. So far been very happy with C920 for the past 2 years

Hey! I work at AVerMedia - great webcam comparison!
Just FYI - the AVerMedia PW513 has *fixed focus,* not auto focus, which is why it appears to be focusing more on your face when you made a comment about it. I believe it would be the default auto-exposure responsible for what looked like an auto focus change (I recommend manual exposure for best quality!).

Hey Andy, I just really wanna say that your product is off the damn shelf! Brilliant work. I work as a pro tech, and now that I'm installing streaming set-ups for clients, this is the only webcam I would ever use.

I do not stream but have always had a webcam because it is nice to be able to see each other when talking to friends digitally as we all did on Skype when it was popular and that is why I have and still use a Logitech C920 HD Pro and it is admittedly old but works without any problems for "Skype calls" and the like but maybe is not something to start streaming with but then these webcams in the video are probably better for that purpose.
FYI the Kiyo Pro have two choices for you for flicker in the advanced option.

For AVerMedia, you should have tested the 315 for 1080p60, not the 513. And not they do fixed focus, not autofocus. Fixed focus is better than most autofocus implementations for a webcam. A really good autofocus might be better than fixed focus, but then you’d be paying a lot more for that good autofocus.
I was definitely set on the StreamCam but that RazorKiyo looks even more promising. I am upgrading from the Logitech 1080p ProStream, so this choice is difficult! This video helps!!!
how'd you get sold on the kiyo? lol. all that flickering and imo the colors of the streamcam looked way better, espec with the settings.
I'm having a problem and I don't know where to ask for help, I have a Razer Kiyo Pro, and it doesn't work on one of my computers, it keeps blinking and distorting everything, I tested the web cam on two other computers and it worked normally. do you know how to help me? my config is 10400F on a B460m D3H (Rev 1.0), I tried a clean reinstall of windows and it didn't work.

Just picked up the Logitech Streamcam for £75 @ Amazon UK, lowest price I've ever seen on this model, much nicer image than my Logitech C920s :)
my pc restarted and updated then it deleted my gpu drivers and inernert drivers and i know nothing about tech so it took me 4 hours also is the logitech c270 good for $27 cuz i cant make money cuz i cant get a job yet im only 15
I feel at most any webcam should cost no more than 100 to 120 usd.
Maybe if you let me do something like being able to add DSLR attachments like different lenses to a webcam and improve the audio to at least blue snowball quality, then I can see 200 being a bit more justified.
I know the focus is on these new web cams, but it would have been nice to compare them to a high end camera.
Hey, hoping u can answer this. I work in a company with high security and as a result, wer not given access to download any softwares etc. Would this webcam work like a simple plug and play or do we also need to download a software to run it. Thanks

Elgato is now 180 usd, and the streamcam is 100 bucks, 80 bucks for the c920 or the c922 pro, so the streamcam as of now is looking like the best option
If only there was a webcam that was exactly like the razer without flickering or the fish-eye effect
I have the Avermedia and I seriously hate the software. Half the settings disappear and are unusable when using other software like Zoom with them also resetting sometimes. The webcam also gets pretty hot when plugged in. Considering getting the Razer instead now...
I really do not like the look of avermedia. I don't know what it is, but it is either the fps or something else that makes the occasional pixelated problem like my $30 webcam, except my cheap webcam does it all the time instead of occasionally.
As a curiousity; is there a reason you didn't loop the BRIO 4K into the equation? I own one for streaming and it's been fantastic.
I think he has the BRIO in different videos, this video was for webcams released in the last year.
As Brandon has said, he covered that last year, in a video that he he mentions that video at 0:03

Honestly, for the same price, you can get a cheap GoPro Hero 3-5 and an Elgato Cam Link 4K (around $200 combined) and with some adjustments in the camera itself, you’ll have a wonderful image
how do you get it to not show all of the numbers and stuff from the gopros camera in obs, i want a clean hdmi.
@@littlenel17 that might be something in obs, i'm not 100% sure as i didn't have this issue. or maybe it's in the connector, you're using cam link i'm assuming? I'd check on the gopro and on the camlink settings.

Same. Put it together with Nvidia Broadcast and you can even get the background blur that some mirrorless cameras do. It's not as good but it's very nice!

For faces WIDE angle is the WORST, unless you want to look insane or ugly ( sometimes the desired effect).
Please understand lenses if you make informationals about them.
$150 can get you a used camcorder which has multiple uses(streaming or recording) and a monitor with a live view, and then you can add an $10 capture card that does 720p60 which is good enough for streaming imo
true and a camcorder is more versatile, you can vlog etc.
youre just better off with a $20 720p web cam at that point.

I just run a Sony A6000. Slightly more expensive but so much easier to set up and manage. Also the luxury of lenses

You didn't show at all how the microphones of these web cameras are sounding. Please add some sounding comparison. Cause webcams are not only about image.

3 seconds into the video he mentions the video he did last year which included the BRIO, this is cameras in 2021, BRIO wasn't released in 2021.

Haven't seen a single webcam that worth the money. That's why I use multiple GoPros... they are a pain to manage but offer far better quality (and flexibility)

At this point just buy a DSLR camera and hot wire it to the PC and your good to go. 😒🙄
Also at this price point you can also buy a Playstation VR for the ps4 it comes with a camera with a great mic, controllers, VR, and wire earbuds. 🎮

I'd recommend pausing your video if you want a longer look at it. There's also a side by side FOV comparison a bit after that and a side by side of the linear and wide options.
Just wondering why you are reviewing webcams when you state in the video that you use a DLSR? It would be nice to have a review of the equipment content creators actually use.
Finally, a true test for the Avermedia 513. Too many paid fucking UA-camrs faking their results with the Avermedia for the bucks damn!
TL;DR Not worth it just switch to mirrorless after $150 web camera.
Hi, when you tested different lighting setup in "No lights & blinds open" part I paused and it is clear that Logitech and Razer Kiyo is one same video. Think you made a mistake over there. 4:27
