As someone who can't watch the show (I'm in the US) I love watching your synopsis!! You put so much work and care into these videos and it shows! Thank you Sam! Loved the sparkle jacket, and loved that Simon filmed your reaction!!! That was great! It baffles me that of all the show ideas America steals from the UK, why can't they steal the idea for a sewing competition?? 🤣🤷♀Thanks again Sam!💗💗
Thank you so much Sam, your weekly synopsis vlogs have been amazing! And yes you didn’t hide it very well that Luke was your fave. A very deserved winner, his final made to measure was incredible!!! 🎉❤
Thanks so much for all your hard work putting these videos together, it’s very much appreciated. Think I must have turned into a grumpy old woman because I don’t think any of these contestants matched up very well to previous ones. I think the biggest problem for everyone has been the time factor. It seems such a shame that all of the Bees hard work, effort and use of resources has meant that very few of the garments could be worn because they weren’t finished. I do realise that it is supposed to be a competition, but even so on a program that is pushing against fast fashion it seems very wasteful. I’m very controversial here, but I hate the transformation challenge it’s just people making unwearable garments out of random crap. The show also seems to have taken off in a direction away from home sewing, absolutely non of the amazing sewing vloggers would make hardly any of these items. I am positive that there are loads of tasks which would test the contestants far better. Anyway rant over, hope the producers of the program use the time wisely between now and the next series🤷♀️
Thank you so much. I’ve been on holiday so missed the last three weeks. These posts gave me my fix and kept me in the loop until I return and can watch them fully. 😊
Hi Sam thank you so much for the synopsis. We don’t get it in Australia so you have kept us connected and in the loop. Btw that colour red lipstick is your perfect colour.
You are utterly amazing! What a wonderful series’ thank you for all your hard work that goes on behind the scenes. And loved the footage of you watching!! Clever Simon!! Cheers 🥂 and your sequins are epic!!!
Hi Sam, I'v'e recently found your channel and have been starting to binge watch your previous videos. In Australia I didn't have access to free to air transmission of the GBSB...so relied on the weekly pattern matches from the Fold line which was great. BUT watching this was AWESOME!! I actually got to see the makes of each of each of the finalists and it really brought the show alive for me. I'm now going to go back and watch the previous episodes. Again thanks so much, and both you Esme rocked your bling jackets!
Thank you for doing this, I've only recently found your channel, but have absolutely loved it. I thought Luke would win but this year, unlike other years, I didn't have a favourite. I was happy for any one of the final three to win. Again thank you for all your hard work and I look forward to next year.
Thanks Sam for this super series! I thought it was an excellent final, especially the final challenge, I thought how supportive the contestants were of each even at the end of the final was just lovely!
Great work again Sam. Will miss this probably more than the show😂 sorry to say I have not enjoyed the show as much this year to many timing issues for me. I also, oh dear differed from you all and was in team Ailsas camp, but I think the writing was always on the wall that Luke would win. I thought Patrick looked a bit pesky so I hope he is alright. ESME definitely out sparkled you so I hope that you will make a copy of her jacket ❤
Great series Sam, really enjoyed it - like getting a double dose of Sewing Bee! 🥰 And LOVE the idea of a champion of champions series - that would be amazing! Or a better Christmas special than celebs if you ask me… They could have 5 (I’m sure not all of them would be available or perhaps want to do it again!) and do a 5, 4 and final 3 over 3 nights…
I flew to the United States yesterday so, unfortunately I missed the final 😢 I’m too impatient to wait until I return to watch on BBC iPlayer so I’ve just watched your synopsis of the final. Absolutely brilliant and thank you for only revealing the winner nearer the end, it gave me a little bit of suspense 😊 I’ll watch it when I’m home and even though I know who the winner is, I’ll still cry, I always do 🤣 thank you for all the hard work you’ve put into producing these synopsis, very much appreciated ❤️
Thank you Sam for the wonderful vlogs of the Sewing Bee. With being in the US and unable to watch the Bee, through you I was able to get to know the contestants and see their wonderful & not so wonderful garments. Looking forward to next season! Love your beautiful Lady Pin Cushions. Happy Sewing
Thank you so much, Sam! This series of blogs has been amazing, and I appreciate all the hard work you have put into it. I loved all your blogging friends input into this video and I agree a series with past winners would be brilliant ❤ xx
Since we can’t get the show here in the states, seeing it through your eyes has been an amazing experience. I kind of knew you had a favorite. 😘. I didn’t care, we all do. I just enjoyed being able to see it. Thank you for doing this wonderful series.
Another great synopsis - thank you Sam. I always enjoy your insights into what the contestants are doing. I've loved the sewing bee since it first started so it's great to watch someone who shares my passion. Thank you ❤
Thanks for the vlog series Sam. The right person won on the night, although I’m Team Pasha. I think the last few weeks really allowed Luke to shine. The programme seemed to have more challenges this year that could be chosen for either male or female models which I think is a bit fairer for those who sew more regularly for themselves. Comparing what they sew on more recent series compared to earlier ones, the challenges in the time are now insane! All of the contestants throughout were so talented, no matter how long they lasted.
@@TheWillowtreeGreen Thank you 🤩 I watched your vlog, I realised I had the Bardon peppermint dress in my stash, and I’d been looking for something similar. How is it for size?
@@SewLetsSparkleWithSam I had to do a narrow shoulder adjustment as the shoulders were quite wide and so ended up removing the bust darts through the method I used , it is a bit oversized intentionally I think, I’m 4ft 10 and I like the length which for me is mid calf you might want to check where you want it to fall, it’s a very simple and quick sew and I love using it as a layering piece 😃
Thanks for all these videos Sam, I have enjoyed them very much indeed 😊 I think you managed to remain neutral throughout, I had no idea you had a favourite 😊 Same again next year ? 😊
Unfortunately I can‘t watch the Sewing Bee. So I have to rely on your brilliant synopsis. I thought the tasks were a bit over the top and I didn‘t like the garments. who nobody can wear.
Definitely the right winner on the night, stunning final garment and excellent throughout
Great video Sam . Thank you. Your winner gifts are lovely 🐝
