Now the business is getting bigger have you given any thought to your branding, company name etc like Every Trade, Ashville have done? D and J Concrete, D and J Fencing, updating the branding, having a font you use, a more definitive logo etc? Maybe you could run a competition to design a logo...

I worked at Goodwood with a major car company about 7 years age I think and had a pass for all areas.
It was such a great event, a fantastic place to be .

Hi to all at d&j,good to see some footage from goodwood,i would say dave I'd rather stick with your bmw rather than the f pace jag you was on about,i get the food and drink stalls have to make a profit but over £6 for 2 cans of pop is daylight robbery,something a bit different doing that pond job,i know a few people in the comments are saying you should have taken the jcb with you but i realise its getting it there as can't just pop it on the trailer 😂stevie definitely needs a break as looks and sounds tired so hope he has a few days away soon,great jobs on the fencing and gate jobs and professional as ever👌hope you manage to get some of the resin jobs started aswell,cheers guy's 🙂👍

Hey Stevie, I have 22m of fence posts and panes to install this weekend, you inspired me to do this myself as I got quoted double the cost it would be to buy the material myself, my question is do I fill the post holes with water or postcrete first ? Keep up the hard graft mate 👍
Water first then postcrete. Another tip is to create a slope around the bottom of the post so the rainwater runs off keeping it from forming a puddle when it rains that's for a timber post though

Hi guys, great video . The yard is really coming together. All you need now is a bucket brush for the loader . I'm not sure I would park my car so close to the shredder, just in case something goes into it that shouldn't
Stevie/Dave why don't you put the wood crusher on the other side of the conveyor and the stone crusher where the wood one is now, that way when you turn the conveyor the front goes towards it's storage bay and the back goes to the relevant crusher, just a thought, plus the stone crusher gets taken off to site it's already accessible

Couldn’t they cut a gap in the hedge save the journey backwards and forwards round it? Stevie some interesting fencing jobs today. Yard is looking like a plan is coming together. The problem with the prices at the shows of the money they get charged to pitch their businesses on....at the midland game fair a roasted pork, stuffing and apple sauce "bap" was £9. I asked about the price and I think then it was. £2-3 k to site a small food unit. I bet that's even higher now 😔😔

Only one problem with them rooftop pop up tents when you wake up you got to remember you ain't crawling out of a tent onto ground it's about what two and a half foot drop play me it hurts

Great video Guy's The pond job seems quite a messy challenge. Yard is really coming on, better organised more efficient on the space. It would help if you had a street sweeper. Great job as always Stevie on that tricky fencing.

Very nice dave Goodwood prices are outrageous better off bringing youre own food and drinks , at least you had good weather i remember going there a few years ago and getting stuck in the mud there was heavy down pours of rain 🌧️, wow the pond job is a nightmare up against water impossible to keep it empty,😢, Stevie great work on the fencing once , get a break long weakened you need a break 😎👍

Ponds suck. Just a tip, work from the top down. You have to dam the top first with Clay and redirect your water outside the pond with a cheap 4-in corrugated drainage pipe wherever it comes in, to wherever it goes beyond the pond. Then during the pond and let it be drained for a few weeks before you even attempt. Once it has dried out as much as it's going to start working your way down the pond, from a shallowest point to the deepest point. If you go from the bottom up and you don't get it all in one day it just slides down to the lowest point.
I started from the bottom and then somebody schooled me and I was able to knock it out two weeks later with no problem working from the top down.

Dave as I said Sunday I’d have loved to go down to 😢Goodwood but travelling isn’t for me anything over 10 miles and I’m straight away on the morphine the pain gets so bad so 6 hrs drive each way isn’t worth it for me. So thank you for recording your views of Goodwood for us to see. I really appreciate it and I enjoyed it again thanks so much. Oh dear pond sludge seems to be forever coming out to you you would have been better off with me waste pump and pumping the sludge out when the pond refilled from the rain. The yard looks so much better now rather than than what it was. 😊😊😊😊

The main reason why things are so expensive at Goodwood. It's the price of the pitch. They need to make the money back as well as a profit. They are a business.
