Nice overview. I have been running this setup for a few years and love it. Mine is the 93 octane version. 30 minute install. I will say you really want the high flow cat in the system if you go with this as you will see a power dip below 6000 rpm without it. This is a nice add for autocross in an AP1 since it helps out with the bottom end power delivery. I am autocrossing an ND nowadays, but run track nights in the S2k and still love this setup. Brian K is good to work with and supports his customers well!
Note for all CA people this will %100 pass smog if you put in your stock CAT; I ran I/H/E with a Blade 70mm TB and use the stock OEM cat; this will pass LEGIT smog in CA with everything. I would avoid showing it off there; Mine was behind the driver side seat 0 issues. Still recommend working grat
I wanted to say it allows you to have you working OBD port for when you smog vs replacing your ECU with like a AEM v2 or something. I could test later on if I can pass smog with this setup.
@@samuellam2379 Correct I just put my cat back on; they check to ensure you have a OEM cat. Everything plugged in AEM intake; B sport header, B sport TB cam gear ect passed without issue
@@stockstothemoon6910 Passes Smog 3 times without issues different places as well great for CA car but I did put back on my stock CAT. i run it with a test pipe swap it for smog.
Do you have a list of mods that you need to do to the harness? I saw a link on s2ki for the modification you need to make they say that boomslang now does this by default if you tell them that you plan to stay NA. I also bought a used emanage and a boomslang harness i have an AP2V1 though
The only different as far as I know is the MAP; for AP2 and AP1 when it comes to the TUNE. As far as the E manage harness the are different from AP1 to AP2; but as long as you have a proper ground wire; like How I wired it in you shouldn't have any issue. The only thing I can tell you from the boomslang to the karcepts harness is they have there own power wire; I showed in the video How I made my own if you have your own you should be fine. I don't think it matters if you are NA or boost; the harness just need to have a proper ground wire; you either get one in the newer harnesses or make your own. Also if you have an AP2 and you don't have to smog I would look into a Hondata they have a plug and play that offers more tuneablity then a E manage this is just a good choice IMO for AP1's .

@@stockstothemoon6910 Smog isn't due for 4 more months
Were you able to pass smog without unplugging the eMangement?

Did you switch your dip switches to ON or OFF for 91 octane? Love the setup!
Off is 91 and on is 93
So off
@@gotembro Thanks! I'm also in California and followed your video to make the decision whether or not to buy it. I appreciate you taking the time!
