You are literally the only person that has actually shown how to install micro links. Everyone else literally edits around the install or their hands cover the process.

I am a beauty supply store owner in Frederick Maryland. I've been here over 33 years, & in the industry for over 45 years now. As you can imagine, I've experienced a lot of different trends over the years. I just want to say how impressed I am with your whole presentation, & your MAD skills. You make it look so easy. In this day & age when ANYONE can post ANYTHING, it's impressive to see such a well produced video lesson such as yours. You speak with obvious experience, knowledge, clarity & self assuredness. It's refreshing to see, & a pleasure to watch & learn from. Keep up the great work Teresa. You should be proud of your work. You're a real pro!
    Cheers, David

Evelyn Ibrahim yes you can, however it is imperative to blow dry your hair - if you air dry your natural hair may tangle with the micro link and your hair could break off as a result. Hope this helped

Question how can you tighten up when its time to get a touch up ? Also how can I reuse the hair ? And lastly what is a good keep up for it when doing it myself ?

    • @rondas7772

@@alexisclark4932 u can reuse the hair if you take care of it. The beads aren't reusable, but can get like 500 from Amazon for like $7.

@@TeresaMichele girl I know I’m a year late with the update. Lol. I did these on myself for the past year, but it got time consuming and there are certain techniques to placing the extensions that are much better done by trained stylist. So now I just have them professionally done. It’s much more expensive, but the time(and sore arms) I save valuable. Time is money after all🤷🏽‍♀️

After watching other videos to apply micro beads, I got intimated and stayed with tape. Literally after watching your video, I went out and purchased all the products to install my own micro beads. Thank you for breaking the steps down for us DIY'ers.

You make this part look so easy! Girl, it kills my chunky arms doin the back myself.lol But for the making part, get a was melter! You can plop a few beads of glue in and leave em and just dip your hair pieces in one after another. I get that part done so quick. its the installation on myself thatl kill me.lol i have the actual glue heater that i bought at sallys and still haven't opened it (its been a year!) because the wax melter works just fine.lol tfs! subbed!

Annie Lee Thank you! I have a friend that has thin hair and we just don’t go up that far in her hair so that her hair covers the beads better. You can still kinda see the beads on the side though if it’s not covered well and hairsprayed and or teased.

Hey I have a question. Im going to be doing my own extensions and I've been looking at how to videos. Alot of the videos say to leave a layer of hair inbetween the row of beads as it creates a bump. I have super thick hair and need to get in as many as I can, I was going to not leave any spaces, but now I'm wondering if i should so I dont get any bumps. What do you think?

Do you still wear your hair like this? I want to do it but not sure how long I should wait? And I want to relax my natural hair for this. But love this idea better then wigs and sew ins. How do you keep them up? Can I use leave in conditioner

    • @TeresaMichele
      @TeresaMichele  6 років тому +3

ladydede88 ladydede88 I haven’t in a while because I am trying new hairstyles, but I would definitely do it again. Some people just loosen the beads and slide them up so they are re-tightened. I just take them out and do them again. I think it’s all about the texture of your hair and how long you let them grow out. You can use leave in conditioner for this. I probably wouldn’t apply a lot to the roots to avoid them slipping off earlier than you would like.

    - Hi .. I wanna Ask , Is synthetic Hair Can be Used As Permanent Hair ? Even Just For 2 Weeks ? 😟
    Thank You.

I would yes. People wear synthetic wigs, so I think it’ll be fine for a short time. It may not look at good, but I think it’ll be fine 😁

Am so confused I-Tip, K-Tip, Flat-Tip, Stick-Tip extensions , are all these in general Micro-Links, like the umbrella name is Micto-Links , only called different names in different places , or these Tip extensions are completely different ?🇿🇦🇿🇦

The link to the hair doesn’t work. Please update us! And what about if u want textures like a water wave. Also, how did I make the i tips? I kno u cut them off the west but how did u bond the bar together? What can last wash after wash? How many times can you install them? So many questions!! Lol thanks for sharing

Hi! I am soooo sorry about the link to the hair. I am currently redoing my website right now. You can email me at teresamichele007@gmail.com regarding the hair. My website should be up next month. I will update you all once it it up and running. You can use any texture of hair to make these. Here is the link to my video where I show you how to make them: ua-cam.com/video/oe9fwFS4qSY/v-deo.html I used keratin beads to bond the hair together. You can wash the hair over and over again while it is installed or while it is out. You can install them several times. The hair will last over a year. I have had mine for years. You will need to retouch the glue tips by either heating the tip back up and rolling it or adding more glue to it all together. I hope that answered all of your questions. LOL!!!
