Good clear info,.thanks. If i was to pay in 800 to meet the criteria can i transfer it straight back to origin account or does it need to stay with barclays to qualify for the 175?
Hiya! Thanks for the lovely feedback. As long as you pay in the cash before any deadlines (and meet the other eligibility criteria), you can just withdraw whenever you want and you should still qualify for the cash. Hope that helps

No. The direct debits just need to be set up and authorised by before the deadline, so they are active on your account. Hope that helps!

Hiya! We've taken a look at Barclays' FAQs and it mentions opening a "sole Barclays Bank Account or Premiere Current Account" so I don't think you can make the switch with a joint account, I'm afraid. Hope that helps

Does the £800 have to be in one go and does it have to stay in the account or can be taken out immediately?
Hi! Thanks for getting in touch. As long as you deposit at least £800 by the deadline, you should hit that eligibility criteria. You can then withdraw the money at any point.

Can you get the £175 and swich accounts again?
In theory, yes. Once you've met all the eligibility criteria and received your £175, you could switch again. I'd make sure you have the cash first, as switching before you jump through all the hoops required to get the cash might mean you lose out. Hope that helps!
At least you did something Barclays deliberately failed to do, STEP 4... there is only 3 steps on the adverts small print, misleading people... that you MUST put £800 in or you don't receive the award. Terrible marketing team, even worse promotion. Cheers anyway. I'm moving to Nationwide. Wate of space this advert.
