Four companies gave me four different proposals ranging from 3,000, 4,000, 5,000, 7,000 George Washington's for cleaning evaporator coils and blower fan. I did both with all tools and your help and other channels help for 400, plus replaced my capacitor and cleaned my condenser unit. 10 up to 17 times less money. Fuel locally is 10 miles for all of them, labor in Florida is low, nothing above 20 bucks for techs as of 2024. I could see charging people 600, 700 or 800, but these companies over charge. Thank you, I consider you a real worker's hero.

Why change the blower motor ? Is it defective or not performing ?If the fan is very dirty , that can but a strain on the blower motor. But cleaning the fan blades should remedy that.

This spring I decided to check and clean my blower wheel in this 16 year old home. I knew that when it was manufactured they did not provide a inlet / return filter because I swapped the return vent with one that caged a filter. When I got the wheel out it was overwhelmingly evident that the interior house painters ran the system when painting. It was coated with cured paint the same shade as my walls. After unsuccessfully by trying many heavy duty cleansers to soften the paint on the blades. I used unscented heavy duty oven cleaner and several hours letting it sit to get a brand new shine with my water hose and a jet nozzle.

The blower wheel clogs with dust, decreasing the amount of air it can move. If you have a bathroom fan a few years old, pull it down it's probably 50% or more clogged.

I’ve been experiencing issues with my HVAC filters bending and creating air gaps, allowing dust into the house. I've already tried switching back to more restrictive filters, but the problem persists. Could a dirty blower be causing increased suction or airflow issues, making my filters bend? Would cleaning the blower help resolve this?

If you could please provide the exact name of the coil cleaner you used and sprayer? Maybe an Amazon link? I have had blower wheels that would not clean with a brush easily, this coil cleaner you used looks like it did a nice job, looks like new. Would think this would be a nice promo for the cleaner you used. Wondering how well it would work on really dirty wheels and would they need to be brushed? Would this stuff work on plastic wheels like mini splits or does it have to react with metal?

Hello whaat state are you in please & what HVAC company are with if you can disclose... Is there a HVAC company here in North Texas that would offer sich a service that you know of? My husband & I have our😮 because we have never seen or known of anyone offering this service. It would have saved many a units from being changed. My fan motor ran out over the weekend & they changed it out without cleaning out a 30 yr old blower drum! So what do you think happened again?? The new fan motor burnt out locked up again less than 24 hours after it was replaced! I only saw your video afyer the fan motor was replaced 😢. I am so sad & grateful grateful at the same time for sharing this well guarded maintenance secret four our HVAC's. Keep doing good. Thank You!

Curious if this would help my furnace problem.... Not sure if it is related but I got a duct cleaning in my house this summer (10 year old house) and i noticed this fall that when i am raising the temperature of my house in the morning the furnace cuts heating before it reaches desired temperature 67f to 72f.
When the furnace cuts out the fan continues running and then eventually kick the burners back on. When this happens it does have a orange flash of 4 blinks quickly.
I wonder if its a air flow issue and when i got the duct cleaning some debris got into something, or its a completely different issue

Brother, I’m from Baltimore Maryland. I’m a plumber I know I can do it I’m petrified. I don’t know why because I know I don’t have the money to replace it right now. If I do break something you know everybody says it’s just a motor it’s just wiring well I know what wire in the wrong way does I’ve seen what people do with Multi split units and burn them up because they wired them the wrong way, I had a company called DeVier came out and serviced my system said they did a full maintenance but yet they never did that never took it out and cleaned it. They sealed all my docs, sealed my return system and sealed the problem.😮😮 what would be the best thing for me to do as a plumber should I try my hand and take it apart or should I call Friend and have that fan housing clean because other than that my system is running perfectly I got all the readings from them from last time when they came out in March of this year so my system is only one for April out in May. My systems always turned off in May. I don’t run my air condition and I just turn my heat back on in November. I don’t think they did a good job at all. Can you explain to me sir it’s a tuneup and maintenance and a gas machine for system has or has not been cleaning that furnace wheel or blower wheel part of it.???so is it covered in a maintenance check up

  • @ronj9448

Hey Ron. So on a maintenance visit, I typically just inspect the blower wheel and recommend cleaning it for an additional fee. If they want me to do it and I have time I'll do it while I'm there but if not, we'll schedule it for another day.
