Light side is about to feel good and be in love with everything in this universe. These things I already have. Dark side is about to use this powers what we have in this universe. We can get anything what we want immortality, superpowers etc...
The universe is overwhelmingly darker than it is light. Half of our 24 hour day is darkness-which is simply the absence of light and vice versa. Our once primal, tribal connection to the energy of darkness was well balanced with that of the light and all in between. Now; we have an enormous irrational fear of the dark, so much so that without a light we become blind and fearful. We once knew how to negotiate with the dark, but tyrannical optimism, Christianity, the self help industry, advertising etc has forced us to feel as though we must be upbeat, positive, and optimistic to the point of dogmatism, that we fear the darkness inside us. Jung understood this, as did Nietzsche, De Sade, Dostoevsky and other great minds. Question why? ‘Sheer terror is the basis of optimism.’ - Oscar Wilde
