No he is not the Modern Monarchy is apolitical this so called expert should understand this. In our Parliamentary Democracy all power comes via the Elected Parliament. The last Monarch who interfered CHARLES 1ST was executed for high treason.

I thought King Charles had to stay out of political issues.
While parliament sits he has to keep out of their running of the country. He can call on the PM for a private briefing at any time and can give gentle advise but it would be advise only at that time. I believe he has the option to dissolve parliament during the year but he would have to be ready to take control of the country at that moment, or at the state opening of parliament he can decide not to ask parliament to look after the country, he wouldn’t get his yearly allowance at that time but all the treasury would become his to use as he saw fit

I went to my 20 year high school reunion on Saturday. Everyone, especially people with daughters, supported these protests. I was shocked as I went to school in a left wing area. If left wing people have had enough then goodness knows what the right wingers are thinking. The governments over the last 30 years are to blame for this.
