HE AIN'T HEAVY HE'S MY BROTHER YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT !!!!!!!!
One of the greatest love songs ever written. If you haven't listened to them sing He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother or Long Cool Woman (In A Black Dress), they need to be on your play list
Don't forget Bus Stop.
My absolute favourite band of the 60’s 💗❤️🔥 I am so happy that you have discovered this incredible band ☮️
Great song! The Hollies are a British pop rock group formed in 1962 & known for their great harmonies. They had so many hit songs such as "Bus Stop", "Stop Stop Stop", "On A Carousel", "Carrie Anne", "Here I Go Again", "Look Through Any Window", "King Midas In Reverse", "Jennifer Eccles" etc. "Graham Nash" was originally in this group & left in 1968 to form "Crosby, Stills & Nash".
Hollies “woman in a black” is brilliant to
This is a really beautiful song. love the Hollies.
One of my all-time favourite songs...it's as powerful as when I first heard it back in the '70s...the guitar riff hooks you and the harmonies reel you in...
Another Classic Rock group from the early years with a TON of great tunes. Nice Choice.
I have a special feeling for Bus Stop. Thanks, JM.
Aye ☘️
❤❤Another of my many favorite, timeless songs. I listen to this often, with the volume up !
Huge hit in the 1970's.
That chorus is everything. I listen to the rest of the song just to hear it.
Another great reaction, JMBOY TV. I love hearing your thoughts after each reaction. 😊
Keep up the great work and best wishes of success with your channel.
Such a beautiful song
Great song. Written by Gibraltarian singer/songwriter Albert Hammond. Some of hits include It Never Rains In Southern California and I'm A Train.
Yes! and his son is in The Strokes. Albert wrote tons of hit songs for others, like Creep for Radiohead.
Two more awesome Hollies hit songs that some of you may not have heard before are "Long Long Road" and "Another Night".
absolutely brilliant
You're getting into some great hippy tunes. ❤
Just found your channel and already subscribed. Love your selections and commentary AFTER the song has played in its entirety. Respectfully delivered and appreciate the hard work you do to share each new discovery. These songs that we heard in the 70's were so musically diverse...everything from cowbells to cellos. A cappella, simple acoustic guitars to full blown orchestras. Thank you for bringing their magic to listeners young and old.
*HE AIN'T HEAVY, HE'S MY BROTHER*
I love this song you want this kinda love
Alan Clarke was definitely among the greatest vocalists of that era, and still performs
Alan Clarke is a fantastic singer more Hollies please ❤ should react to k d lang’s version of this song hauntingly beautiful ❤❤
I think they played this song at my prom. 😜
If you're going to do the Hollies then "He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother" is pretty much compulsory. I'd put it my top 10 best of all times list.
If you like this song why not review the guy who actually wrote it. Albert Hammond; it's on you tube, recorded live in concert in the BBC studios back in 75 , heartfelt,
Albert Sr. is an amazing songwriter!
Check out kd lang's version of this song as well!
Suggestion:
The Marshall Tucker Band - Can't You See - 9/10/1973 - Grand Opera House (Official)
Now listen to Creep by Radiohead. They had to add the composer of this song, Albert Hammond, to the song writing credits.
I would hope so as he was the main writer, I believe. Albert wrote so many songs for others.
Too syrupy for me. You should check out DAY OF THE EAGLE by Robin Thrower.
Great song they never wrote this Hollies were a good band
