This video covers how and why Fassets will be huge for us Flare FLR token holders. We not only will get up to 50% APY (airdrops/staking/delegating) but will be able to use those tokens to earn more free crypto by providing FLR as a collateral for minting Fassets. The rewards are paid out in the crypto being minted so if I'm providing collateral for FXRP minting, then I will get fees paid out in FXRP. So I"m getting free crypto for using my FLR as collateral. Love the videos! One frustrating thing is not knowing if things work for real rewards right now or not and knowing the fees. Like sceptre, they take 10% of my drops too? Seems like an outrageous fee at the moment.
Yea, Sceptre, I view as a saving account to accumulate without any efforts. I get to use the sFLR once Fassets and Kinetic(lending) rollout (and collateral) and earn more. I do both staking and delegating and then have that bag of sFLR just accumulates at 50% est APY for now. The fee is high but you are earning more because SCEPTRE allows for delegating and Staking rewards. Normally, you can't do both at the same time and earn rewards so technically a 10% fee is worth it to earn both of those at the same time.
So the SFLR can be earned right now? Not test stuff but real SFLR that can be used later? And to be clear I will get my normal wFLR rewards AND sFLR?
@@user-ox9pn4uh2k correct. You can use Sceptre to swap FLR or WFLR to SFLR. You will get rewards and airdrops with sFLR. Here’s the link to Sceptre - app.sceptre.fi/flare/dashboard#stake
You will see the balance growing in the dashboard but only will be able to use what amt you actually swapped originally. If you like claiming rewards and airdrops yourself then I would NOT stake w/scepter because they do it for you and hold them till you exit
