Fun fact, pre-industrial grain mills also often exploded, since the grinding stones could cause sparks that ignited the flour dust in the air. They had to be kept wet when grinding the wheat.
And that why those are marked as EX dust explosion hazard zones and you dont fuck around with them. Got to experience dust explosion when chucking fine powder of wood sanding dust into fire place. Nearly got Adam Savaged and that small amount was enough to throw fireball half a meter out from the fireplace upwards. From that i really understood why plant safety manager was so utterly pissed for smoking in the cellulose elevator while fixing the steps (EX space, but plant was shut down for maintenance, so no dust in the air. I'm not complete idiot, but that really explained everything)
Yeah, Mythbusters did an episode about granular explosions, they built theirs out of coffee creamer and matchheads if I remember right, the results were spectacular. I also had to learn about this stuff in electrician school, certain places like grain silos require airtight parts, no chance of electrical sparks.
Edgar opened the bag first, then waited for the raiders. Essentially, he slung the flour into the air in a cloud of white. When the cloud drifted down to the ground...boom.
Does it involve yeeting a multi kilometer asteroid into their homeworld as an attention getting gesture for our demands for an unconditional surrinder?
Every time you say the word "humanity" I can't help but think "American". Frankly, most other countries don't behave as humanity is described... but America?
'Anything that can burn will explode under the right circumstances.'

We humans don't suffer from insanity, we enjoyed every minute of it especially when things go "BOOM"
And you are loads of fun at parties. :)
"We don't suffer from insanity, we revel in it!" -Me, probably...
Edit: "We don't suffer from insanity, we call it 'Imagination'."
@@TheMonkey747 You don't suffer from insanity, you let others do that. Too busy enjoying it yourselves.
Molotov cocktails, will be useful as long as fire hurts
Ever wondered why grain elevators explode? The grain dust finds a spark and BOOM! No more grain elevator. For the Algorithm!

I remember learning about the Great Mill Disaster the explosion killed like 18 people.

Coffee creamer.. works great too. But I don't think throwing the bag would be good enough.
Edgar opened the bag first, then waited for the raiders. Essentially, he slung the flour into the air in a cloud of white. When the cloud drifted down to the ground...boom.
And here I was thinking powdered sugar.
The first story has a second part titled "We didn't Understand" by the same author. you should cover it too please
Wow! Glad to hear somebody's enjoying the story. If he wants to read the second part, I'm all for it.
could you share a link?

Thank you!
One of my instructors at EOD school in the Army used that High Explosive joke.. dude, thanks for reminding me.
Edgar “you should see what I can do with some styrofoam and gasoline.”
Don't forget the orange juice concentrate for added oomph!
I only smoke when on fire. Happens more then I will admit here...
But it's fun...

Yeah that’s true I assume it’s the result of the majority of Reddit users are American or European, and that’s where these stories come from
