You will notice that the Futurama footage has been sped up by about 30%, this is due to on-going copyright issues. How much does this influence the overall viewing experience for you? At this point, we have 3 possibilities: 1) Futurama is sped-up, my speech stays the same. (Like in this video) 2) Futurama is sped-up, my speech is also sped up. 3) Nothing is sped-up, but half of the show has to be cut out.
Maybe a Toli watermark over the video, a slightly smaller window, ill take what ever works. And have no issue with watching videos at 1.25 speed. sometimes I don`t notice I chanced it, till I put on music playlists.
@@Tolye well then I think voice and video should be at the same speed, you can even go way faster, and we slow it down. Think that might even game the you tube algorithm, people watching a 15 min video for 30 min, unless they chanced it after Spiffing Brit made a video about it.

Actually fun fact: the word "robot" comes from a 1920 Czech sci-fi play about a company that makes intelligent humanoid automaton servants that are virtually indistinguishable from real humans called "roboti". The play ends with the robots revolting and destroying humanity. So, yeah, the word "robot" is Slavic in origin and people were afraid of artificial intelligence as far back as 1920.
The word was created by Author's brother, Josef Čapek. That is why the planet Fry and Leela go to is called Chapek 9, as a reference to the author. The word is derived from the word robota, which means corvée labour, also hard work or drudgery.

If you search for "Ol' Man River Michel Bell" there's a great recording on this site: You and me, we sweat and strain, Body all achin' and racked with pain "Tote that barge!" "Lift that bale!" The music at the end is a genre called 'Klezmer' which is quite popular with Jewish communities in the US. And it does have roots in Central and Eastern European folk music.
Futurama stays very consistent in quality and I slightly prefer it to The Simpsons. Futurama's writing is better for the most part. I think The Simpsons is a more iconic show and it's basically been the densest source of memes from any one show since it started - only Spongebob has contested it - but there's a lot more episodes and seasons 2-10ish are incredible. Just my opinion. Love these reactions and I'm sad I've almost caught up with South Park too - it's my favourite cartoon of all time 😄

@@Tommysimonsen the thing is that the video is not the issue, it's the audio that gets claimed.

Run video at 0.75% speed and it's close to normal
That speed up though, I had to check my settings because I thought I did it.
Yep. I did that and it sounds great.
Good call
