I have been doing this with my rokid max a r glasses for quite a wile with my mini 4 pro . I was going to make a video about it but you have dun that but I I'm going to get the dji goggles because you cant used motion controller without the goggles.
@ricardov2469 yeah been doing this a long time with other drones, but the neo is hot right now and figured there's probably a whole lot of people new to the drone world that might wanna see this.
Thanks - interesting stuff. I wonder if you could use a usb C splitter with the RC-N1 controller to connect phone to controller and phone to AR glasses? If so, you would get the control back like the RC2 you demoed.
You can utilize it using Default Air Casting on the beam pro instead of the NEBULA APP ON BEAM PRO, which will just project the beam pro's screen, since the new update let's you control your DJI Neo on landscape mode, so you don't have to control it vertically.
Nice job buddy you did such a better job than my boy lol I won't throw him under the bus with us name lol but great job telling us all about it. I might have to grab one of those. I been trying to up my videos. Again good job as usual. You want to come up to NJ or NY for a group ride next month if the weather is good. I'm trying to put something together as soon as my BG X is done.
Thank you fam, that drone is actually good for ebik/content creators like us at low speeds considering you don't have to use a controller with it. Group rides souns nice, but unfortunately i have a bodybuilding competition towards the end of next month. Can't wait to see the BG upgrade, you are going up to 72v right?
@@KingKola_ na I'm doing 60v62.5ah and 5000w motor with 100a controller and plan on changing the controller to a fardriver over the winter and probably use a 72450 or the next size up. But I hope to have it done in a week or so. Just waiting on my batteries And swingarm bracing to be done. I will have videos up soon.
A slight reality check here: First off, you need a Type C phone, the standard lightning cable iPhone doesn't work for the phone to nreal method, for the controller to glasses, you need to buy the seperate controller that has the screen, the one that comes in the upgrade kit with the 3 batteries does not work either. I tried all methods. unable to make work, but nice to see that there is a method though, upgrade my Phone or buy the controller. Thanks for the Vid
@Tips-r-us actually xreal does sell a lightning to usb c adapter that works with my other iphone which is also a lightning port. And as far as controller it's more so if you already have that. I appreciate you watching and commenting.
Nice one if you already own AR glasses. Or else it's gonna be expensive. Same story with the goggles 3 and MC. I know a cheaper way to fly fpv, buy the Dronemask 2. I've got one and it's awesome! 👌🏽🔥
the only draw back about the neo is that batteries really won’t last more than 5 minutes iam returning mine i bought the combo and its not really worth it .. i will wait for the mini pro 5
@yohannsphotographyvideogra9542 if yours only last 5min then something is wrong with your battery. Mine typically last around 13min, then that's even while not depleting the battery completely. But i understand wanting to return it though, it's not for everyone. From someone who has the skydio and mavic air 2pro with incredible battery life, i gotta say the convenience factor of the neo has made me fly it way more often.
Something must be wrong because mine on average will last at least 15 minutes without the prop guards. I have three batteries in it all seems to be very consistent with flight time.
@delrayguy399 Right, or maybe he's just exaggerating. I had someone tell me that his neo was super slow, the i came to find out he didn't even have one 🤦🏿
I used my Xreal glasses and Beam to fly yesterday.
this is awesome, did not even know it was possible!
Yes! thank you for dropping by

My question is , can these be used with the RC-N1 Controller ?😮

@@paulphillips3783 interesting, but i doubt it since most usc c splitters don't support video output. But interesting though
mate u saved me 600 au dollars from buying another set of goggles - i will simply connect my xr glasses to the i phone pro now .

GREAT I WILL TRY THIS❤❤❤
Super nerdy, super cool...think I wanna get a pair myself...thanks for the video!
@sfuguy haha, no problem haha. Some play video games, some of us do this.
What would you use if you want to connect you camera that has a lighting pin for iphone how would you connect it to the glasses?

Only the cable that comes with the AR glasses will work becaused its a specila cable cable no ordernery usbc cable will work👨🔧
Can you bluetooth a game controller to the app?
Good idea but i prefer the goggles 3😊

@@KingKola_ ohh wich one is that?? Dronemask 2 is currently €169
incrível
So if you have the apk i should be able to use with beam first generation, right!
@@donjan3 hmm, i haven't even thought to try that. I think that'd be too much work.
I came here to ask the same question. I am going to try to connect to the original Beam. Controller, to beam, beam to glasses, DJI app on Beam.
Did it work?@@MatthewWilliams-kh4ww
dji and viture should partner up .
Connect rc-n3 to xreal beam pro….

can you give me a drone pl zbro
Bro how did you download DJI fly app with an android it's banned in the USA
There is something called an apk
@ericheiden9752 the app is not ban in the states, you can simply download it from dji's website.
@@ericheiden9752 If you know someone that have it maybe they can send you the APK file by WhatsApp.
DJI’s worst drone ever.
Cap
For $200 it’s actually the best yet
