The amount of times I’ve heard children in foster care speak out about the abuse and treatment they received is crazy. Why does it never change? The government’s worried about issues which only effects their votes yet real problems like these never gets resolved.
And to me it's crazy how they want to bring more children into that by banning abortion. It's so easy for pro life people to say just put them up for adoption without understanding the horrors of the system

Adoption isn't always easy. Had family friends that had great jobs, a big house but still weren't able to adopt so they adopted from another country. Idk how horrible people end up fostering children
Honestly, she’s a REAL queen with her positivity and composure to inspire others to leave their bad situations and that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel🥺
The foster system in California is a joke. I have personal experience with being in the system and it was horrible. The physical and verbal abuse I endured was traumatic and the social workers never did anything about it. My heart goes out to this family and I’m glad they made it through on top of all they went through.
You shoulda seen the foster care system in Mississippi. Sent to a bunch of different "homes" and most of them were for-profit farms or ranches that used us for free labor under the guise of "chores." Then forced us into a religion and church that wasn't ours and had permission to physically discipline us "within reason." And the in-between shelters were just as bad. Locked in a room with 5 other kids the whole day except for school. And yet the alternative was starving with our crackhead mother so 🤷

You said this far more succinctly than I did, in my comment above. That's exactly my point. If CPS can't protect the most famous abused kids in America, what chance, does any other obscure kid attempting to survive childhood have?
I was thinking the same thing! They should have been handled with extreme caution and surveillance, placing them in the very best and loving foster families!! The foster care system should be torn apart, exposed for their crimes and rebuilt with the best people who actually care and love children. Praying this in Jesus ‘ name. Amen.

Makes me so sad. My niece and nephew just recently opened up to me about being abused in foster care. It wasn't anywhere near as bad as my sister's home but it was still abuse and it breaks my heart that I wasn't able to rescue them.
Hi, why were they put in foster care if they had relatives like you? Im not from the US and so Im just really curious about how the system works there, like these Turpin siblings, they must have had other relatives from either Father or mother side.
@@MariaE99 it’s a for profit system so they should be placed with family but the system prefers to put them with abusive strangers. The states get federal funding the more kids they have in the system and the more they adopt out instead of reunite the more money they get.

There's something tough about this girl. She was the one who snuck and posted UA-cam videos (where the comments told her that she was being abused - she didn't know before that). She was the one who snuck out to find a cop & showed him pictures. She's got fight. I hope the industry doesn't eat her alive. But I don't think she'll go down easily.
I'm so disgusted by how the kids were treated after their rescue. The public should have been kept informed of how they were doing and how the donations were being spent. We would have done all we could to make sure they were okay. We love you kids!
Jordan and her siblings have been through so much and I hope they will have a bright fulfilling future ahead of them. They have so much talent, despite being abused so horrifically by the people who were supposed to love and protect them.
Ugh words cannot even explain how happy I am for Jordan. I feel like I immediately cry whenever I hear her, even briefly, talk about what she and her siblings have been through.
It's absolutely sickening to me how these children were failed twice...I remember thinking the first time they were rescued how great care would be taken to find exceptional foster families for what these kids had been through - boy was I wrong. I'm just so happy that despite her past, Jordan has turned out to be such an amazing, sweet person - genuine to the core and great fashion sense....
Jordan has a very high IQ and is able to fake being "happy" the most as a result unlike the other siblings. She is doing all these photoshoots and interviews so she can get more money for her siblings. I worry that Hollywood will exploit her.
I didn’t know Jordan was in foster care I thought she was old enough to be on her own I watch her on tik tok all the time she’s such a beautiful young woman and I’m proud of how far she’s come ♥️
She was for a short time but is an adult now, but the county kept millions in donations that were supposed to go to the children and refused to give it to them. So the ones that were adults or aged out of foster care were all homeless at some point because the county wouldn't give them any of the money sent in for them.
@@kpstl26 that's really disgusting and pathetic. Wtf is wrong with all the adults who were supposed to protect these yound people? Only greed and selfishness. What an embarrasment.
She was for a short time because she was 17 & a minor at the time she & her siblings were rescued. She's a adult in her 20s now. I watch her on TikTok too almost on a daily basis. I also have duetted some of her videos which helped me learn some of the TikTok dance trends because I am a bad dancer.
I’m very proud of her. Even with all she has been through, she is still going strong and telling the world that she is here. She is an uplifting individual with so much ahead of her in life. She is someone that we all can look up to.
It's disgusting what these kids went through after being 'rescued'! I hope all those involved pay in every possible way for the abuse that was inflicted upon them.
Jordan has come so far now. I'm so happy to see that she's finally free, and I think she was a true superhero for her siblings by climbing out that window, running away and calling 911 so the cops could see the living hell her parents made her and her 12 siblings go through and her parents could receive the punishment they deserved for almost 3 decades. And she's grown a lot, from this shy, scared and disorientated 17-year-old girl to this confident and empowered young woman in her 20s. She deserves all the happiness and peace after all this ordeal she went through for the first 17 years of her life, and her siblings too, it's so sad that after all the abuse they suffered by their parents, they're still being subject to abuse from others, I hope they can all get out of that place as soon as possible, they don't deserve this, no one does. I hope they meet once again and can be the happy family they deserve to be.

She and her siblings grew up with no education. When she spoke to the cop the night she escaped, she didn't even know what injured meant. That's how disconnected they were from the world

I hope Jordan and her siblings win that case and get a lot of money. They all deserve it. And I’m so happy to see that Jordan looks happy and is doing so well for herself.
The lovely thing about Jordan is that she's so beautiful, inside and out. Who knows where she would've been if she hadn't saved her siblings. And the girl is stunning. She has such amazing features, and I am so happy for her. I hope God blesses her throughout the next years of her and her siblings lives.
Despite the cruelty she and her siblings were forced to endure, they seem really nice people. I wish her every success in the future with her career; God knows, she deserves it!
There's an interview with the CEO of the hospital in which they were taken! He has an area in his office sectioned off with desks displaying all the momentos kids gave to staff! The children left tons of notes, letters, drawings, paintings, thank you cards expressing their gratitude to staff! They will likely never fully recover, their brains were damaged as a result of prolonged starvation. This on top of the lack of formal education during their formative years. Her getting through college despite this is incredibly inspiring.
I mean, it's probably an accent formed by almost exclusively being around a very small set of people
She's so beautiful.
Which is weird, considering what her parents look like 😂
The amount of times I’ve heard children in foster care speak out about the abuse and treatment they received is crazy. Why does it never change? The government’s worried about issues which only effects their votes yet real problems like these never gets resolved.
And to me it's crazy how they want to bring more children into that by banning abortion. It's so easy for pro life people to say just put them up for adoption without understanding the horrors of the system
Or condoms birth control. Smh you say in one breath Its horrible to abuse a kid but ok to remove one and take the life from them yall make no sense
Because cps is a child trafficking ring that makes a lot of money They don’t care about the kids. They just need kids to make money
Go see the documentary ‘these little ones’
It is enough to wake anyone up to communism when everything becomes the domain of the government doesn't it?
Money
Good for her, I'm proud of her for her courage. She's grown into a beautiful young woman, I wish them all the happiness she and her sibs deserve, and I hope everyone, and the entire system that failed them gets the punishment they deserve.
This is why you need to adopt a child. They deserve a better place, better home, and better parents. Edit: okay, maybe adoption might be a bad idea in some way.
Nah. Just abort the child and save the world
Only the rich can adopt
you adopt one
Adoption isn't always easy. Had family friends that had great jobs, a big house but still weren't able to adopt so they adopted from another country. Idk how horrible people end up fostering children
Pro-abortionists would say she is better off dead
Honestly, she’s a REAL queen with her positivity and composure to inspire others to leave their bad situations and that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel🥺
The foster system in California is a joke. I have personal experience with being in the system and it was horrible. The physical and verbal abuse I endured was traumatic and the social workers never did anything about it. My heart goes out to this family and I’m glad they made it through on top of all they went through.
It's not just California it's the entire country
You shoulda seen the foster care system in Mississippi. Sent to a bunch of different "homes" and most of them were for-profit farms or ranches that used us for free labor under the guise of "chores." Then forced us into a religion and church that wasn't ours and had permission to physically discipline us "within reason." And the in-between shelters were just as bad. Locked in a room with 5 other kids the whole day except for school. And yet the alternative was starving with our crackhead mother so 🤷
I'm sorry you all had to go through that.
So sorry to hear that 😢
My heart is with you too, and all that children that suffered through it
She’s still so innocent like a little girl. I hope she’s okay.
Exactly. And that really concerns me. I wish her and her siblings the best.
Going from less than normal to trying to be glamorous and sexy attracting creeps is not the path to being ok.
@@vj6164 I’m worried about that part
@@vj6164 Yeah I heard she recently signed with a modeling agency? I'm definitely worried about that. Honestly I think that's one of the worst industries she could get involved with.
It's worrying. She doesn't know what's out there, I don't think.
Hopefully she can get a modeling gig, or something like that. She’s truly beautiful, inside & out!
Not just that, she just has that It factor.
Actor, politician, doctor, lawyer etc. She can be anything she want
@@lizxu322 Oh, she totally could! I was just thinking, she really seems to enjoy the camera, and it could be a great way for her to make good money quickly. I just want them all to be truly comfortable…finally.
Hopefully more than a model....she has so much in her.
Model?!? What good is walking into another mysoginistic environment going to do for her?
Everyone failed them! I hope they get justice
@Raytheslay well... At least you said respectfully :)
Exactly, there’s still more people out there going through this
@Raytheslay 💀
I also felt sorry for other people who got tramatized
@Raytheslay if you didn't care you wouldn't have watched or read comments. Troll
I think she needs real help, and not people looking to exploit her.
Her beautiful, defiant spirit obviously helped her mentally survive the unimaginable; it’s a pleasure seeing that shine through in her new life. ❤️
If the foster care system didn’t care about abusing arguably one of the most famous kids in this country (in terms of family abuse), imagine how they treat kids without such a big platform/fame…
Yes it's a scary thought
You don't even know .. trafficking children under the guise of the law .
( although tall children deserve that) Their lack of care tells you everything you need to know about how wicked and corrupt that system is. The foster care system should be torn apart, exposed for their crimes and rebuilt with the best people who actually care and love children.
Praying this in Jesus ‘ name. Amen.
her parents threatened them that things would be worse for them under CPS. I guess they were correct about the underaged kids who were molested by the foster family. yikes.
This is absolutely unacceptable children should never be put through that much suffering by people who you should feel free and safe around and not chained up like some violent criminal
@@randomname5696 lol I guess no one was sus of me

She's STUNNING! Ive enjoyed watching her blossom, grow & gain confidence all while enduring the spotlight, stress, anxiety, depression & abuse. Im so proud of you Jordan!
Horrible. And if these kids went through this, imagine what other kids in foster care must go through.. 😞 I mean, this only got wide recognition because people were interested in following their story.
Facts
She and her siblings deserve all the best this life has to offer.
Even though l am a 61 year old black woman, this young woman is inspiring me! I am in process of overcoming a 61 year old internal prison of so many types of abuse l have tolerated over the years, but this young woman makes me wanna be more free. Thank you Jordan 💗😒
I wish you all the best 👍
I'm a 63 year old white woman and your words echo my sentiment in both experiencing trauma and my internal prison. I don't leave apt for weeks at a time, just to name one effect from "so many types of abuse I have tolerated over the [decades]" She makes me want to chance stepping out of myself for more than an afternoon's grocery shopping ofr morning's doctor appt.

I absolutely believe her. The system is never on the survivor's side. Look at what happened to Gabriel Fernandez. I'm glad she's speaking up. This is a step up for not only herself and her siblings but for those who no longer have a voice.
Good for her. She is taking what happened to her and turning it into a success story. You go mama!

hi
Imagine living such a horror filled life to become a living icon and saving so many of your siblings from even more years of horrors... What an inspiration. Extremely brave.
I need to add to my love and admiration for this woman. This woman is going to great things and how brave she is so profoundly impacted by her positive energy. Imagine after going through all they did and she is on People suing the foster parents and agency !! This family deserves better!!
As a Child who survived multiple orphanages and foster care homes, it was just as traumatic if not MORE than being my abusive parents. its sad and you're made to feel like a puppy dog trying to be "good enough" to get adopted or find a home and family. As a fellow Jordan i am SO PROUD of this young lady and wish her ALL the best!
She is the epitome of strength. I’m glad she can be so positive
@@user-bj5rr3fh1u sad😞
It's shocking that the system failed victims of even such a high profile case. If this is what the Turpin children went through, I can't even imagine what the foster kids who never made it on the news have to go through.
yah same, it makes me sick
True
I haven’t seen a better example of “moving on in life” than this. 👏🏻
Praying that she has a good team/manager. The industry that she's in can be soooo toxic. I, hopefully like everyone else, want the Turpim children to be healthy, happy and successful.
As a parent, I hope the same for this young lady.
I wish Bieber or some other big celeb with money would cover the cost of hiring a representative to look out for her and her siblings' best interests.
The court stole their money and spent it on luxury items and houses!! The money is gone thats why they never got a single penny!
absofuckinglutely stoked for this young woman. she’s a badass in every way 🤘🏻❤️💯
ok
I get it... Saving yourself and siblings is totally badass! She's also lovely and could be a model herself.
Jordan and her siblings have been through so much and I hope they will have a bright fulfilling future ahead of them. They have so much talent, despite being abused so horrifically by the people who were supposed to love and protect them.
she had come so far she’s a beautiful young woman and a warrior
She looks beautiful. I can’t get over the strength and tenacity of this girl
Everything she's doing she does for her siblings. Her "showing off" her beauty is not vanity.
Jordan is my hero. She’s such a courageous amazing woman! I hope all of the kids never have to live anything less than an amazing life. 🖤
She is an absolutely courageous, beautiful young woman. May God shower her with blessings every day for the rest of her life!!
❤️
She's like a glue to her family, *siblings. I wish you Jordan all happiness in life.
I hope she continues to thrive, this woman really deserves all good coming into her life. As do her siblings.
Can't they be given the money from their parents or something
I’m very proud of her. Even with all she has been through, she is still going strong and telling the world that she is here. She is an uplifting individual with so much ahead of her in life. She is someone that we all can look up to.
It's disgusting what these kids went through after being 'rescued'!
I hope all those involved pay in every possible way for the abuse that was inflicted upon them.
Happy that Jordan is finding peace, happiness and Dreams.
Hope the future goes well for her, and may she be protected by people who will protect her.
I hope they meet once again and can be the happy family they deserve to be.
from childhood until now, she's a hero to her siblings. God bless you, Jordan!
i really admire her
she saved herself and her siblings
she seems so happy now and tbh she is so pretty
Looking at her parents I don't know how she can be so pretty. She got their best genes.
I know right, their parents looked like a freakin gnome
they probably weren't ugly when they were young idk
This is the type of woman I would appreciate and feel joy to see winning an award for Woman of the year.
I'll keep this comment short as to not overshadow this statement or this young lady with what I was tempted to finish this comment with- which had nothing to do with this lovely young woman and that's what this should be about. Her strength, courage and kindness.
Wishing her and all her siblings unconditional love and Blessings for the rest of their journey💓
As a child who experienced abuse. Jordan is so amazing! I don't think there is anything so beautiful on the whole world as her. God protect her and he siblings.
Love this girl!! I’ve been following her story for a year or two and I’m always in awe of how strong she is.
Wow, she is an inspiration to many. She has been through it, suffering from her parents AND her foster parents.
she is not much older than me and i am just so proud of her. i used to live near the house
Glad to see that she's free and living her life.
She has such a beautiful bright soul, I wish her and her siblings the everything good the world has to offer💜🙏🏼
I’m so sorry you had to experience neglect and abuse by 2 sets of adults. I was fortunate to have wonderful foster parents. Keep being strong Jordan! ❤
Im so freaking happy for her! She deserves everything in the world!
I feel so terrible for her and all the other kids in that house. She grew up not knowing so many things. I wish them incredible lives.
Seeing her now makes me cry just seeing how much happier she is.
Her ENERGY is just BEAUTIFUL. She literally radiates positivity. Like I just wanna give her a hug be her friend type of energy you know? I’m so happy that she’s a warrior spirit. 💜
She really needs more exposure and hopefully more jobs and gig for her so she could provide for her siblings. God Bless you dear!
I'm happy for her and hope she continues to prosper. I think she has such an innocent and caring soul from the interviews I have seen of her.
Hope her and her family do well.
This is so amazing to see after what all of the children went through. I hope they all have absolutely amazing lives to make up for the trauma they endured for so long.
I won’t say I’ve been abused but mentally am really exhausted in this household and would like to get out after my education nice to see someone stand up for themselves.
The system failed her so completely. Every time I remember her story I am absolutely disgusted. To finally escape and be placed with another group of abusers. Sickening.
She’s an absolute gem, and is beautiful in every sense of the word. I’m sure she still has dark days, but to walk away from that horror and _still_ be positive is a rare quality. I hope her and her siblings win their claim, and live long happy lives.
So glad she is living a good life.
Now we must save her siblings.
She and her siblings grew up with no education. When she spoke to the cop the night she escaped, she didn't even know what injured meant. That's how disconnected they were from the world
Even uneducated, she was very eloquent… i have no doubts she would have been a brilliant student in school
I've been following the turpin story for a while, and Jordan is simply incredible. She is a fighter even through all the abuse and I hope she gets justice. She deserves it especially with everything she went through.
JUSTICE FOR JORDAN!!!
She really is the definition of beautiful on the inside and outside! 💖
A true hero! 💕
I hope Jordan and her siblings win that case and get a lot of money. They all deserve it. And I’m so happy to see that Jordan looks happy and is doing so well for herself.
Yes, and that THEY ACTUALLY GET the money this time.
She is the only social media star that deserves everything. She worked hard and stayed strong. Not just for herself just for her family

Those kids can't catch a brk...I hope they win their case
Despite the cruelty she and her siblings were forced to endure, they seem really nice people. I wish her every success in the future with her career; God knows, she deserves it!
There's an interview with the CEO of the hospital in which they were taken! He has an area in his office sectioned off with desks displaying all the momentos kids gave to staff! The children left tons of notes, letters, drawings, paintings, thank you cards expressing their gratitude to staff! Suffer said despite the lack of social skills n education they were very polite & showed signs of talent! It showed some of their artwork!
She is so loving to her siblings from the very first she call 911 she never escape without getting back for them. She definitely will become a good or rather best influencer. God bless Ms. Jordan Turpin.
