@@lesgraham6602 Your question is nonsense. Irrespective of you moving the goalposts, which is only one of many logical fallacies involved, the burden of proof is not on me, it's on you. Your question also proves why religion is not conducive to logical arguments. "Faith" is an acknowledgement that one's beliefs are incapable of proof. If they had that capability, they wouldn't require faith. Facts are true whether you believe them or not. Faith is the decision to believe something in spite of the ABSENCE of proof. If your position is that it's a logical argument to place the burden of proof on ME to disprove YOUR beliefs, logic dictates these inevitable conclusions: You are arguing that your beliefs are capable of being proven and/or disproven. The only way for you to justify this premise as a logical one requires you to admit your lack of faith. If you don't agree with this sentiment, then your argument cannot be couched in logic. If you have faith, it renders your argument logically invalid, because it requires you to admit that there cannot exist any possible satisfactory response.
@@lesgraham6602 As a side note, "nothing being proven wrong" in the Bible is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. First of all, the statement is demonstrably false. Tons of shit in that book have been proven false. Second, it's an empty, unjustified argument. For example: There is an elephant in my bathtub right now. Sounds ridiculous, right? Probably bullshit? But it's TRUE! It really is!!! You should believe me. You don't really have a choice BUT to believe me under your logic, because you haven't provided any proof to the contrary.
I've decided to come clean about this. Look, I don't actually KNOW whether there's an elephant in my bathtub. I'm out of town. But I BELIEVE there is one there. A voice told me. Probably the voice of the cat you alluded to. I offer in support of the soundness of my argument and belief the fact that you have yet to provide me any evidence to the contrary. #Nonsense
