Older Lady in the back thinking... "Curse it! My poisons have failed again!"
Out of this world, both of them. In perfect harmony together.
Only a few stood for this applause?!?!? Come on!!!
The rest of the crowd was still trying to catch its breath
I had the great fortune to see them perform this live a few months ago. WE all stood!
pietalpha2 Awesome. I would love to see them live.
Beautiful! I love how Ms. Fischer gets out of the way when the cello has the melody. Extremely sensitive performance from both!
Excellent! As a violist, I can't help resenting that cellos play this song... but I'll get over it!
both Julia and Daniel have excellent technique and completely master their instrument, plus the sound of their instrument also sound really great! the chemistry between both is palpable, you can really feel the good connection between them! great performance!
Besser geht gar nicht. Wunderbar
The look on the faces at the back makes me realize some distances beyond reach in whole life. They are so close though.
both playing really good.
I never get tired of watching this video.
they are best of the best.. and the tempo is incredibble! almost unbelieve to play, thanks, cheers!

I will always love you, dear Julia Fischer. Someday I'll be like you.
Be yourself!
I mean, someday I will play like her.
Follow your dreams! ❤️
¡¡¡¡FANTÁSTICOS!!!
The music is by Handel. Lets give credit where credit is do. The arrangement is Halvorsen.
More exactly speaking, this music is composed by Halvorsen after Handel. It is more like a series variations based on a theme originated from one Handel's suite for harpsichord.
julia fischer te amo
3:00 The guy behind her is picking his nose XD

Had to give this a 2nd listen!

+Sydney Sundermann What did you expect? They're professional musicians. You should watch more about Julia Fischer, and Daniel Müller, of course. She's one of my fav. I also recommend you check other musicians such as Anne Sophie Mutter, Lisa Butiashvili, Janine Jansen, Sayaka Shoji, Arabella Steinbacher, Hilary Hann, Joshua Bell, etc... Well, only if you like.
+Ce B
thank you i will definetly do so
2:07 sounds like one of the later passages of Vivaldi Winter
Brilliant performance - but what a MISERABLE orchestra behind them ... the violin section looked bore or annoyed all the way through!
May be they know the shows of superstars and prefer another kind of performing.
It must suck to be underpaid nobodies while the YOUNG hotshots just play like they never will for the big bucks and fame, right in front of them...
Áron Ecsedy Underpaid nobodies? Don't be so rude.
Rude? Most musicians never get to be first rate musicians, and a regular orchestra member is paid 10-20 times less than the principal members, which is still nothing compared to what guest soloists make. BTW: Some members in the background already had a musical career playing in different German orchestras when she was born. How's that for sour grapes?
Not everyone can be number one cause not all of us have the same inspirations, needings and tools. Underpaid doesn't mean you're a nobody.
"Bella, perdio! Chi è l'autore?", direbbe Schubert.
Ovvio che Franz Peter lo sappia, ma non tutti sono Franz Peter.
Oh such music! do you hear our song God !
Can someone recommend for me like this beautiful pieces?
+Oktay Yılmaz I recommend you pieces like Brahms violin concerto, Tchaikovsky violin concerto, or Mendelssohn violin concerto in E minor, Op. 64.
Ce B Thank you. im gonna check it ;)
@theclarinetist you know us violas can play this too? Go watch the Itzhak Perlman version. It's just as beautiful
Wow, on which CD this piece has been recorded???
jozef lendvay very best !
Any idea if this recording (or a recording of this by these two) is available on CD?
After ten years' intense and passionate collabration, they finally entered the studio and make a duo album which exactly includes this work, relased under the label Orfeo in August this year. www.prestoclassical.co.uk/r/Orfeo/C902161A
Wools
Handel is the original omposer
жуля Фишер общин хорошо играть
Should be quite hard to play it any better ;)
Good performance, but even if not so important, the sound engineer have badly mixed the instruments, the violin is too far behind... Otherwise this is beautiful concert, thank you for sharing. Very human. Not perfect? Yes, but sensible, like music is.... Should be... the rest is for my bollocks....
@Carol Haynes Yes the ochestra is pathetic. In any other genre, these 2 genius would produce themselves as a first part, without the presence of these "I'm so bored" people (which don't stand a chance in any other genre than classical music) , those last would have came out some seconds before they perform.... If you know what I mean.
A brilliantly staid and "academic" performance but not a patch on the lively uninhibited show put on by Kennedy & Alipieva.
Perlman and Zukerman did it better
I dont like her personal and her techniques (noisy)
I play the violin and find no problem with her technique. Much to the contrary: her "attacks" are among the very best. If you don't like her person, that is a personal problem.
Bravo!
