@jeremyblackwood - If I'm not mistaken, the original key is E - starting on the 6m chord. The nashville pattern should be 6 - 1/3 - 4 - 4 - 6 - 5 - meaning that your second chord for the chorus (in D, which is what I believe you've actually dropped it to) should be a D/F#. I think your octave method is still doable, but it sounds a lot better (to me) if you add in the 5th fret on the A string into the equation - giving it a true D/F#.
+Corey Harmon Hey Corey. I'm sure you're right. I actually have know theory knowledge. Or at least it's really limited. I just play by ear. Thanks for the correction
Hey Josh! Good to hear from you! I have this channel for our worship team and just post it on UA-cam and then connect it to The Planning Center. Then others can use it too.

+moonlightcape I did just listen to it and you are completely right. I'm not sure what I was thinking. I think I came right from work and did this video really quickly. It's only right when I'm singing with it. When I'm playing only it is NOT correct.
Dude just saying, I'd totally buy a CD from you. Your voice is amazing haha
Amazing! You have an amazing voice and an amazing talent!

Jeremy is playing bass notes. The actual song on the cd is the using the 5th. Doing octaves on the 5th is much better and a little easier.
Waooo. Super
Hello! It`s amazing! Can you write strumming pattern?
haha... awesome... Didn't Know you had had a youtube channel.
Hope things are going well for you.

Jeremy Blackwood Very cool, I am using some of your videos for our worship team. they don't speak english but the get the music part :)
Is it just me or is there like one beat/strum missing in between the G to B for the chorus?
I mean when he is not singing, he got the beat when he was singing XDJust try singing with the guitar when he is not singing.
+Israel Chua You are totally right! I just listened to it and when I'm NOT singing I am missing a beat! Sorry about that!
+Jeremy Blackwood it's cool dude! glad you figured it out :)

Helpful, thanks! However, I think you're skipping two counts whenever you're playing the octave instrumentals. Try singing to it, and you'll see...
