I'm stoked you got that Real board! I want one! All of the best tricks I've ever done in my life was on a team oval, the blue 8.5, same that Jim rides, and I had a lot of em, have fun with that bad boy!
Looks sick. I just recently setup an 8.5 Ishod twin tail, Indy 159s, 52mm spitfire classics, shake junt bearings, and mob grip. I used to ride 8.25-8.3 on 149s, but loving bigger board and trucks. It just works.
just swapped from riding twin tail boards for like 2-3 years to a Hockey board and man how its different in a really good way.. been a long time since ive felt this comfy on a board.. there shape and wheel base is just so nice in my opinion
@@AspiringSpaceWizard They are fire. there shape has helped me out alot witht higs i struggled with.. shuvits and pop shuvits might be funky at first tho
Looks sweet id give it a spin for sure, im currently riding a creature gravette vx 8.5 wide by 32.25" long with 14.37 wheelbase with hollow light venture highs, hazard wheels cortina bearings and enjoi rails and its fire, i like the fact my truck is smaller then my board which helps with the leverage for all flip trick 👌🏼🇦🇺
149 on 8.25 gives me more stability in general, not just for grinds, I also get more control with my flip tricks and I can manual for days it feels like
Yes boi! I’d ride that! Just set up a real 8.25 ishod designed by natas 🫡 thunder hollow lights II bronson raws and og classic 53mm 🔥 I feel you with the trucks… stuck mine on my 8inch before the 8.25 arrived and I was feeling the lock in with the smaller deck 🤔
I love real boards Im on my 2nd one the team oval in 8.25 I ridden santa cruz, creature, powell flight, and blind I have to say my real boards lasted the best solid pop the flight deck was nice but a little bendy for me idk and razor tail
149 on 8.25 is also my setup ... more stable and I SEE my wheels (Spitfire OG Classics) and it don't feels like a hoverboard! Awesome setup ...! 🫡 Regards from Austria 🛹🇦🇹🍻
I dug the idea of the short wheelbase Ishod, but being a limited edition it's suuper exxy in Australia. It's been tricky to find an alternative. Something with mellow/mid concave and steepish kicks, 8.0 width and
EASY RIDER, NOT STARRING JACK NICHOLSON BUT SPENCER NUZZI ON HIS SKATEBOARD THRASHING IT UP. HE RIDES EASY, BUT IS NOT CHEEZY. HAIL NUZZI, AND SKATE LIKE AN UZI. SPENC HAS THE MOVES TO PROVE.
@spencernuzzi Those 48mm wheels are what I skated in th 90s. Boardycakes, too. Good for nose/tail slides, some grinds, and flip tricks. Drip Drops are the smallest I ever skated 38 mm, and they still make em'. Hope you enjoy!
Got the 8.38 anti hero eagle with the easy riders concave getting delivered tomorrow. Excited to try it out. Got the 149 hollows to run on my 8.38 also
Idk if this is the right way but when i apply rails i screw em in, the unscrew em to sand around the edges of the holes down, sometimes even with a razor just cut the bumps, and then put the rails back on after. That way its flush
Are you on the pepper g5, but not the galaxy stuff with the sparkly bit? I'm pretty keen to try that plain black one after trying the galaxy one. They say pepper grips better than jessup but rips up shoes less than them.
have you ever tried putting washers on the inside of the axle? i know you like your nut to be flush with the axle. this would help with the rattling if that bugs u
I'd recommend Santa Cruz Slimlines over the Pigs if you like thinner rails. I tried out the pig rails, and my biggest problem with them is the screws they come with don't seem to grab into the wood that well and seem prone to stripping. But ya, rails are rails and can confirm the pig rails slide just fine
I've riden a real skateboard a few times an it's always been my experience that they were "real" flat.....now that I think about it...antihero decks have tha same shape...as tha time old saying goes "flatter then a white girls butt".....lol.....
It's supposed to have a unicorn graffic on it!
😮

I hope u get to skate one of these! And thanks yo!
Bones Big Balls are a fast smooth bearing very smooth.
I really like them.
I skate Bronson G3 usually
Oh word! Can’t wait to roll on these
You stay fried in ur videos 😂 and I stay fried watching them 😆
Ahaha fry guys

I was looking at their shape and i really like the fulled out nose shape. Think im going to get one tmrw
Nice to switch it up or have 2 setups for variety

Nice setup. I’d ride it. Mines a little smaller:8.25/31/13.5. I’ve been riding rictas for a while
🙌🛹💯
baker 8.25 mellow concave, just feels so comfy for me
That board looks so fresh. I used to have a real deck with pink text, it was so fun to ride. Look forward to see you shred that one :)

I haven't ridden a Real since the 90s. Don't know why I slept on them this long, but I really dig that shape!
U and me both lol
I loved the full SE shape he based most of this board off of, but I'm on the symmetrical egg train right now

So sick Spencer!!! I have Swiss big balls and they are dope and pepper grip is top 3 for sure! Super chill video!
Thanks yo!! 🙏🛹🧊

True that 🛹💯
Got a Powell flight 8.25 with Indy 144s and 54mm bones wheels, shake hunt night train bearings and Indy hardware for my street setup
Yes boi! I’d ride that!

Finally I scan skate a crailtap shape that's not from some mysterious factory overseas... DLX rocks
plz make more skateboard set up videos, we love it!
Thanks for watching yo 🙌🛹💯
So cool
The Big Balls ride nice and make a nice sound. I wanna try the Swiss 6 Balls.
Can’t wait to try them!

I put the axle tag on my key chain. 😂 Hollow 149s have been good for me.

I think it’s the non galaxy stuff. And ye way grippier than jessup but not as rough as mob
Heck yes!! ❤
🙌🙌
Spence how many full completes you got in the Quiver atm that orange one is sick
I’ve never ridden a deluxe board that I didn’t love. Even if it wasn’t the exact dimensions I ride.

My buddy use to fill his grip bubble with helium because he said it gave him more pop
Smart dude !
I've always rode an 8 inch deck but am thinking of trying an 8.25. How tall are you?
Try it out! Height doesn’t really matter I don’t think. I’m like 6ft and I use to ride up to 10in boards
Does a wider truck make it harder to do flatground tricks?
Not necessarily, but it does make it more stable to stand on
Ive been riding bones reds forever and just set up some big balls and cant feel a difference
lol wonder if I’ll
Feel anything different
Looks like a finger board sitting on your table
Right?! Hah
Ain't nothing wrong with Pig rails.
Ppl always hate that I use them lol

Cant find this board anywhere yet
Big balls bearings do crooks on 131 trucks.
💯
I hated the Bones Big Balls. They didn’t last a month before the races blew apart. I haven’t bought a Bones bearing product since.
Oh dang I wonder how these will hold up
Dude, how grilled are you 😂
Don’t scrape your nuts!! 🤣
