I found this episode and Dr.Levine fascinating and extremely relevant to understanding how we store trauma in our bodies. I was specially dumfounded to hear that wild animals shake out Bad episodes of their lifes so efficiently and we don't? Has our collective psyche weakened? Or our monsters are more ferocious and deadly than lions, haenas and Wolfs? Also what's a good exercise to shake out the Heart stored trauma specially if one encountered la femme Fatal Doctor?
Barking dogs trigger my fight or flight response instantaniously, but I take a very long time to settle down. It's exhausting. I absolutely loath dogs and dog owners for what their raucous noise polution is doing to people's health. Valium and noise cancelling headphones are my lifesavers.
Great episode thank you
Such a great inspired talk/interview. My heart, mind and soul- opened up. Thanks a lot- both of you.

We as humans have a tendency to get stuck in the stories in our minds.

I understand that. I lived with a dog that barked constantly when the owner left - that should have been a crime to do to someone renting from you.
