Listening to this today, on the occasion of my parents’ 25th wedding anniversary (this was the song playing in their wedding video). It brought back so many fond memories, as well as the loved ones no longer with us. Music truly has the power to capture that special feeling, which I haven’t experienced in a very long time. I remember replaying 2:30 so many times because it played as it showed the part where my mum looked really beautiful in her wedding dress as she walked out of the bridal suite accompanied by my grandma and (late) grandpa. Truly, a beautiful link to the past. 😌
This made me cry! It’s so sad how Karen ended up passing away. Your tribute to this great artist is very endearing and sincere! You emulate her voice so perfectly! Keep up the incredible work! I look forward to future videos.

No-one could ever come hear Karen's voice, but Shane Ericks does this track justice with her beautiful rendition.
I hope if you read this Shane you don't get carried away with comments saying you sound like Karen.
Don't take it personally, you don't.
But you have a wonderful voice in your own right .
I think she sounds very much like Karen without mimicking her. Same intonations, same shading. It’s unmistakable to anyone who’s studied Karen’s voice for decades.
