Good video & info Peter - mate just wondering where you park the car and can you just wheel the kayak to the launch point?

Hi Lex, there are a couple of car parks at what is called Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre. It is a cafe and visitor centre. The bottom of the two car parks has a track coming off it which leads to the launching point. It is signed. It is far enough that you need a trolly for your kayak. The track is a gentle gradient. If you are thinking of going make sure you check the SEQ Water website as it has been closed due to the recent rains and the dam overflowing. Let me know how you go if you do go.

    Hi Peter
Really enjoying your videos on Enoggera Reservoir bass fishing! Just wondering what size Mustard In-line Singles are you using on your TN50s?

I use a number 8 on the rear and a size 6 for the front hook. Thanks for the great feedback.

Great video Peter! You make it look so easy! What pound braid and leader do you use at Enoggera? I am just wondering if you use something higher to keep the bass out of the lillies. Hope to see you there sometime.

G'day David, Thank you. I use 6lb Platypus P8 Braid and either 10lb or 15lb Platypus Stealth leader. I don't think you need more than that. Generally they get in the lilies because of how close they are to them when you hook them. They just make a beeline to them and it is almost a given that some will get there.
Come and say hello if you see me on the water. Always up for a chat.

@@PTPFishing Thanks Peter. Yes, I'll definitely come over for a chat when I see you. Happy to donate to the Brisbane Valley Anglers once I catch a fish!

Have you ever caught any other fish such as mullet, catfish etc

Hi, only thing I have caught other than bass at this point is an eel. I do know somebody who has caught an eel tailed catfish recently. They are native to this waterway.

@@PTPFishing thanks, I have seen small mullet swimming near the banks before but I was wondering if there were any bigger ones
