I started losing sympathy when he said that he missed opportunities to cheat on Lisa but stayed loyal. Like, who tf says such a thing?? You shouldn't even be thinking about that
Yeah, that one is the suckiest part of all this. The only silver lining is that he now realizes what a huge tool he was and how much it cost him and others.
His point in the story is that he brought his shitty life on himself. One of the first things he says in his post on Reddit is "This isn't just a story of revenge. This is a story of how revenge hurts both parties." He fully acknowledges that he did this to himself.
At first I was like, "Haha! She got what she deserved! Serves her right for being a cheater!" But then it just kept going and going and going. My stomach actually started to turn because how far he was taking it. He got his revenge. He hurt her, but it wasn't enough and he just became evil.

Takes two to tango. He had his mental virginity raped - and figured: "oh, so this is how the game is played." He didn't kill anyone. He didn't rape anyone. He merely dated, pumped and dumped. All the women featured in this feminist story were actors with agency. Granted - it was somewhat of a "falling down" kind of story - but a teaching one. Because at some point we all break... I'd even argue that he broke with grace. But to answer your point - Because mutually assured destruction is the only way back to any sort of resemblance of peace. Revenge rarely uplifts. A little petty revenge, just enough to remind the other person of the lesson, that should be enough to do the trick. When you start stepping on other people, holding on for too long, all it does is to hold yourself back!
You know honestly, I kinda agree. It kinda sounded like realistic at first and I was like ok so he got cheated on, and hes gonna get revenge. But then it went into a whole novel depicting his tale of revenge, and how he pretty much shattered her relationships. And how he semi-ruined his own life. (Its not really ruined, because it did sound better towards the end, but with all the drug use...)
The more this story progressed, the more I started frowning. The revenge started good. But as it progressed this guy got more sadistic. I've been cheated on. I've been hurt, manipulated and depressed; I don't think I could do this. I may fantasize about it but actually being this evil is too much. Driving someone to the brink of suicide is not okay. Imagine if she actually killed herself. Cheating shouldn't had been met with such a brutal and sadistic string of actions that continued YEARS after the event. And roping in innocent people that had nothing to do with the cheating, and ruining relationships is also not okay. This guy blamed girls and roped them in because "Oh they're cheaters too" on the off chance they actually took the bait. He manipulated and used people to tend his sadisting Psychological torture boner. I have no sympathy for this kind of behavior and I hope his wife finds out what kind of monster she lives with.
You mentioned a lot of important things here. But there is one I wanna talk about "I may fantasize about it." This whole story sounds like something OP fantasized about and he just wrote his fantasies down and told it like a true event. At least I hope so.
While I generally agree here, especially as you worded it as evil as revenge is just answering evil with evil, the relationships part no. He just brought out the true colors of her and their community. All of them willing to be with him like that so carelessly. They were all just as evil as him. He just brought a light to it by performing said evil.
@@pussydestroyer87 Same here. Every woman has at least some kind of requirements and OP can't be everything. Imo the story just kind of sounded like a fantasy to me.

Well, that first story really felt like a "yeah, that happened" OP being super hot and amazing, so much that everyone only liked his gf cause he is so cool, how he got revenge by having sex with the whole track team, how he was smart enough way to orchestrate it, how he got away scott free and got posters of himself. And mostly, how nicely it is all redacted... feels a bit made up
And besides that, even if it is true, OP is an awful human being. Feels betrayed that his teammates cheated with his girlfriend then goes and intentionally does the same thing with her teammates.
@@liamkyle253 But what about their boyfriends who did nothing to deserve that? Maybe OP wasn't the only guy they were sleeping with, but given how hurt he was finding out multiple men were sleeping with his girl friend, thats pretty messed up to do to another person.
Same, constantly being on drugs throughout university and for years after, not to forget how he ruined that girl even though she deserved it, but not to that extent.
This entire story had me instinctively scoot away from the screen and feel sick. It would've been one thing if it had been a revenge he looks back on with shame, but his tone still makes him sound proud of the way he just systematically destroyed this girl life, taking out multiple innocent others in the process. OP is a terrible person and what happened does not make what he did justifiable in any way. Yes, Lisa isn't a good person either and definitely deserved a punishment for her actions, but I don't think anybody deserves to be mentally tortured to the point of getting suicidal the way she was. Additionally, destroying relationships of people who didn't have anything to do with the situation is sick. Even if the story is fake (which I suspect), it still doesn't change anything. OP has a horrifyingly nihilistic view on the world, relationships, and women if he thinks this story shows him in any kind of positive light. The only way this story would work is if it were deliberately written from the point of view of a villain, an origin story of sorts.

I couldn't get through more than 2 minutes of the first story. It's a load of BS at best. He was "a good kid" with "a kindness to his soul" but became a drug fiend who was "lead [down] a very dark path" and now is a good and respectable person. Who honestly writes that like? He sounds like a typical AITA narcissist trying to blame everyone but himself and get everyone to agree how he's in the right for doing something incredibly evil. Apparently his girlfriend slept with half his teammates so he decides to sleep with most of her teammates and drive her insane and do some other stuff on top of that. (Let me guess, he also shot her dog and ran over her cat while driving off in the pickup truck he stole from her as well, fleeing from her house where he planted 20k worth of drugs while the cops were heading there based on the anonymous tip he called in.) Either that poster is horribly evil or he's a 13yr old edgelord writing revenge stories about the cheerleader who turned him down for a date.
Yeah you figured it out in two minutes. This guy is a total narcissist. The way he talks about this relationship, himself, and his drug habits show he is a power hungry man child who can take literally no accountability for anything.
OP was such a good guy and was taken advantage of, despite never having done anything. He became high on the power trip of having s*x and drugs, which is his fault, but these girls chose to cheat on their partners, just like the OPs coach said. This is the definition of nuclear revenge. Someone screwed up so the OP got back at her multiple times as bad. Big deal, these girls made bad choices and enabled the OP's unhealthy coping mechanisms. Don't only blame the OP when everyone around him were just as bad.
this dude went mental. in my opinion 7 out of 5 buttholes. i can understand that someone is angry and full of hate after finding out that someone cheated on them, but blaming them for the revenge you choose isnt right. Op desided that he wants revenge and didnt want to heal.
@@michaelm4870 No. This is going way too far. The 7/5 is too low for him and her score was more like an 8/5. The second he ropes in other women, becomes an alcoholic and drug addict, etc that is going too far.

Damn, this really did go nuclear. I don't think OP can ever be forgiven for this, but I hope he works on redeeming himself. And by that, I mean to be the most good a person can be, as opposed to the evil that he was. Most of all, I hope Lisa's doing better, happier and healthier. I don't think that gets said enough here.
Agreed. The revenge was affective in the since he completely screwed up his target’s life. But it makes OP a look wwwwaaayyy worse. I love hearing stories of cheaters getting their karma but this is definitely overkill that backfired so hard that when OP’s life falls apart it almost feels like karma for OP’s overkill.
*If* this story is real (and I have my doubts based on how farfetched it reads), then my sympathy for OP disappeared with his actions after the girlfriend's cheating. He went from wanting to get revenge to becoming an all-out sociopath. He targetting people that had nothing to do with it, bringing them into his twisted little game. This one was pretty disgusting to hear/read.
Maybe not cheating yet, but definitely willing if given the chance. My ex friend/bunkmate was always accusing her bf of cheating and while she never actually cheated, she was actively looking for a replacement BF at every opportunity. Like only keeping bf around till she found someone she liked better. I felt bad for him.
By all means, this story was quite disgusting indeed. I'm suprised op is still walking on earth after all the enemies he made himself, if it was all real in the first place. The funniest thing though is the hypocrisy of his revenge by becoming an even more disgusting version of his girlfriend, a hundred wrongs don't make a right. And after some digging it seems like OP's hypocrisy still keeps up to this day. Definetly a pleasant human being :)
I have no clue how he was before this but I kind of pain can make someone more fuck up.. not trying to justify OPs actions... just the girlfriend might have made a monster by doing what she did... it's possible but way he was describing himself he was already bad won't lie.. just it might have made the bad traits even worse idk but that's why you don't fuck with crazy people *sips tea*

I put this story down for a while because of how evil OP was. Only now have I picked it back up and finished. I have to say there are two trains of thought I have with this story and in both of them I agree that everything he suffered through in his drug abuse was well deserved.
The place where my paths differ is the idea in other comments questioning the legitimacy of this story. If this story is fake, then he has no sympathy from me and I have nothing else to say. @@michaelm4870 No. This is going way too far. The 7/5 is too low for him and her score was more like an 8/5. The second he ropes in other women, becomes an alcoholic and drug addict, etc that is going too far.
@@leileyaravencroft his score is is a 10/5 her score is a 8/5
Is it just me or does it sound like a possible plot for Far Cry 7? Add in a few more weapon variations and maybe one or two more explosions and the game is practically already made
Damn, this really did go nuclear.
I don't think OP can ever be forgiven for this, but I hope he works on redeeming himself. And by that, I mean to be the most good a person can be, as opposed to the evil that he was.
Most of all, I hope Lisa's doing better, happier and healthier. I don't think that gets said enough here.
She really doesn’t deserve it. That’s why it doesn’t get said enough. It shouldn’t really be said at all.
This story goes more and more towards a "Congratulations, you played yourself" ending...
Also, waaay overboard much?
"Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves."

*GF: Cheats.*
*BF: Becomes a War Criminal.*
LPT: if they’re always suspicious and accusatory of you cheating, for no reason, it’s because they’re already cheating.
Learnt it the hard way.
Definetly a pleasant human being :)
wait what? he’s still like dis?
@@ah9592 Judging from his comment history on reddit, he still seems like the same ol' arrogant jerk.
@@MaxMustermann-nl2mk yikessss no character development is just sad. i feel bad for everyone who’s near him
I have no clue how he was before this but I kind of pain can make someone more fuck up.. not trying to justify OPs actions... just the girlfriend might have made a monster by doing what she did... it's possible but way he was describing himself he was already bad won't lie.. just it might have made the bad traits even worse idk but that's why you don't fuck with crazy people *sips tea*
Man,
is Monogamy so hard?
People fail so often at it
than they even stoop so low as to do
Polygamy, despite Polygamy literally being the
Art of Failing at Monogamy.
“She destroyed my masculinity so I destroyed her mental health”
My guy......how is that fair?!?
Exactly! he was aware that he made her suicidal. And he kept going?? The fact that people think that's okay when it's not scares me.
IKR he sounds like one of those incels with their fragile masculinity
Oh you're one of those people huh
well she practically caused the destruction of his mental health, cuz of her cheating he became addicted to illegal drugs remember
@@mikaeleulrichzagetapoc2022 Yeah but he brought everyone down with him. EVERYONE not just his girlfriend. Also the things he’s done code will be described as emotional abuse. He went way too far with his revenge it went from revenge to just being someone who pleasures other people pain
Lisa really should've talked to OP when she suspected cheating in the first place. OP really should seek professional help because he genuinely seems unwell for that original leap to nuke everyone, everything, and then salt the earth just because Lisa cheated on him.
