i miss this game, man. i remember hearing of it years ago and really wanting to play it, then being bummed when i found out that it got copyright claimed. i do have the tribute edition though, and its great, though i havent played it in years... i should play it again. this game reminds me of this fandoms prime. awesome fanart, amazing music with heart and soul poured into it, so many interesting theories and stories, aw man... i hope we can have something like this again for g5, if it ever happens. ill see you guys later, i gotta add this soundtrack to some playlists.

I can't find any specific comment which definitely confirms this, but they're still calling it "fighting is magic" whilst it is in development (They say they can't keep the name permanently as it's too close).
actually... she changes into her Pinkamena form, flat hair, sad face and all, and the screen turns black and you can move her towards your opponent, press any action button and she will give that poor pony the hug of death before changing back into Pinkie Pie! its powerful, but I found it kinda creepy... o.0
Actually that's copyrights, not trademarks. You can't lose a trademark that easily, but if you let one person get away with using a trademark it sets a precedent that can be used in court against you if you want to stop a third person from abusing your TM. Bottom line is that the copyright laws that we have right now are flawed in one way or another. But I don't know how to fix them or whether we would be better off if we scraped them alltogether and started over.
Nope, I still want to play. Let's hire an army of lawyers and make this a landmark case! We can kickstarter dem legal fees :P In all seriousness, though, this game had such "nostalgic potential" if you know what I mean. I could easily have seen it being one of my fondest memories of being a Brony.
