Faith for the win!!! Totally natural on camera and excellent with the ad lib! Also, thanks for the tip about The Travelin' Ham. Subscribed!
Already digging The Travelin' Ham production style. Fantastic use of music and montages of local scenery. Again, thanks for pointing out the channel. 73
Fun video. Good job Mike.
Looks like so much fun! I'd love to fly in from ZL land sometime and join in.
Ahhh! I live 1/2 mile from the park. Would have loved to stop by. I did go to the Tidelands ARC field day over in Texas City and had a super day. Thank you TARS!
Half a mile from the park and you drove 30 miles away from it?!?! We'll be down there again. Prob not til after the tourist season ends but you never know.
We actually met when you and Jason and some other dudes we doing a POTA at Galveston State Park on the beach. I think the park may have been closed for some reason. Well I will stop by next time you all are around.
As to the field day…… great fun…….. mad as a box of frogs!!👍😁😂♥️
Phil ,Suffolk U.K.
Dang that looked like a good time !
Winlink & APRS for the win!
🤣
I wish there were hams like you guys where I live.
Thus much fun and still legal? Amazing!
To be fair, a state park police officer did arrive at the scene at the end. But everything was packed up by then. This message will self destruct in 10 seconds. If it doesn't, this comment is meant as pure parody and should not and cannot be used as evidence or self incrimination per statute 1E-94-7185.
@@hamradiotube I had a couple of LEOs visit me at Harris Neck NWR just south of here. First thing they said upon exiting their cruiser was "You're okay, we just want to see what you're doing." I gave them a choice of the technical description or the short one. Unfortunately, the guy asked for the drawn out one, cuz I like to run my mouth when given half a chance. Both very nice folks. Told them I supported our soldiers at Ft. Stewart and they left with bidness cards. If you plan to hit Orlando, I may be there, look for you, and tell you what I really think. I'll be nice. Promise.
Can't believe you got a whole platoon of hams and not a single CW key in the group. K9BRS
Did you miss the 2 parts in the video where I talked about CW? And even showed a key? Literally in the first minute we were talking to the CW operator. Some people just don't pay attention 🤦♂️
My kinda folk!
Our club ran 24 hrs stright with one radio QRP working 160, 80, 40, 20, 15, 10, 6, 2, 1.5 , 70cm.
We were able to make voice on all bands....cw on 80 thru 15....and digital on 80 thru 2. We also made a sat contact.... all this on 10 watts or less, on generator power mobile. NZ5T
That's pretty awesome
Looks like the only thing you were missing were burgers and dogs!
Always a good time. Thanks for the invite!
Love the Michigan connection lol 73, KE8WXS
Hi, would like to try POTA. Wonder which logging programme is being used please. Regular follower of your posts. Very helpful and enjoyable, thank you.
Phil - Suffolk U.K.
For POTA pretty much everyone is using hamrs.app
@@hamradiotube ok. Many thanks. Phil 👍😁
Looks like an absolute blast!
Can you put Linux on that craptop? JJ, Mike, Tank. Epic Field Day. Good work, bro
You can, but not being a computer guy that would be more frustrating than Windows. KM4ACK did though.
I want that hoodie 😊
It looks like he got it from Buc-ee's!
N8YO... That traitor 🤣
I spent field day with BARA (W8MAI) just a few miles from his home town.
That was great. sorry you got TANKED ! . I got one of them Eco-worthy 20 ah battery's. works great it will run IC 7300 . my back up battery. like to see the DX commander go antenna to antenna with the buddy hex. 73's
Ham and bourbon. Who am I to argue?
This was fun to watch. Can imagine how much fun it was to be there. K1DLA
Agreed, what a blast!
great job Jaison congratulations 73 from kb2uew
Lol I'll let him know 🤣
Good evening everyone from Alabama
It was great fun, JS8Call was a bit of a failure. But, I enjoyed meeting everyone and hanging out.
Lmfao the intro was good.
Sometimes it's just about the company.
Amen, brother!! Windows does suck. As does the Mac.
I presume that you're home by now (it being Wednesday), so regards to Satan.
Woah woah, easy there on the Mac! I'll have you know almost everything on this channel is shot with an iPhone and edited on a Mac.
@@hamradiotube I realize that, son. But you still won't catch me buying an Apple product that I can't eat.
hi , I m learning online for my ham license in Canada for the basic+ ,if i get basic only the regulations said i can't work below 30 Mhz ,does that mine i can work only 2 -6 meter on 70 cm ? or can i do 10m till 80meter?
I would imagine if you can't work below 30MHz you could use 30, 20, 17, 15, 12, 10, 6, 2, 70cm etc etc, but not 40, 80, 160. But don't take my word for it. You need to check with your countries regulations.
@@hamradiotube thanks, I have to look more in the regulation and do some digging
I agree, Windows is the worst OS ever
Extra field day points go to Darryl for the expert use of Memento Mori. Keep it stoic, brother. 🫡
