Since this is a video about leftover stuff in Pizza Tower, I'm gonna tell you what to do with actual leftover pizza (because why not): Heat a skillet over a stove, adding a little bit of olive oil once hot. Place 1-3 pizza slices into your pan, add a small bit of water to it and IMMEDIATELY put a lid on that. Hi Mort. the water will steam-cook the top, leaving you with pizza that tastes and feels pretty close to how it did in the hour it was made. Note: If your pizza has any form of pepper (especially those dried red pepper flakes) already on it when you do this, prepare for spiciness! Heat makes capsaicin (the chemical that causes spicy) more powerful! Have a glass of milk or soda at the ready.
While the Heat Meter and enemies getting additional moves is cool on paper, the way the levels are designed involves the player learning the layouts and entering a sort of flow state. A mechanic that essentially punishes the player for doing well and enemies suddenly doing something unexpected and breaking that flow state, it was definitely for the better that it was cut.
I think that with the anger meter, its good they removed it, because pizza tower is a game about going fast and killing enemies so it wouldn't make sense to punish you for doing what your were supposed to do. However, if they make a new game with difficulty settings, they should add it to the hardest mode.
This makes a lot more sense to me, the whole thing is pretty clearly a joke and I don't think "a bee" was ever _seriously_ considered to be one of the game's main bosses.
Speaking of the prerelease builds of Pizza Tower, I have two things to bring up; First, I was checking the Eggplant Build and wanted to see if I could reconfigure the controls to how I have them with the finished game on Steam, but somehow that lead to me disabling the Up input during gameplay, and both Up/Down in the menus, and I have no idea how to revert these changes. Maybe it saved the reconfigure file to an obscure location on my laptop? Second, with the early test build (and a couple of the later builds where the audio .ogg files are out in the open), there's a couple leftover unused tracks such as "Intro", "music_cooltheme" and "music_escapetheme2", a few of which would be used in later demo builds. The early test build specifically, here's an interesting tidbit; In the first Knight area, before the tomato Toppin, there's a metal block blocking a hole that Knight Peppino can fall down into, and that works as intended. However, if you try and go back up that same hole with a shinespark jump, it turns out to not function properly, likely an oversight for how difficult it is to do such a jump on that length of platform. If pulled successfully, Peppino will superjump endlessly, leading to a softlock.
I think it might be neat for there to be a wario costume that you could get for peppino, as a nod to the franchise that inspired some of the games' mechanics!

One thing I have seen literally nobody talk about is the alternate or second Noise fight. So while messing with some of the sprite files I came across a few unused The Noise stuff some of which being an unused boss room for The Noise, being a bouncy house type arena with a Noise mech sitting in the middle of the background looking over in which I would assume Noise and Peppino, and their being an enemy or weapon used by noise called in the files "spr_noisedynamite", and looking at the sprites it is literally just a stick of dynamite with Noise's face slapped onto it, and along with that there is also a group of sprites in which would be The Noise taking one of his bombs from his hot air balloon and kicking or throwing it at Peppino in battle, and then another group of sprites being where Noise would shove a rock with himself painted on it and going after Peppino with it and then a Large rolling rock called "NoiseBoulder" which I would assume if the Noise rock were to miss the boulder would go back and hit Peppino, and one final attack of Noise throwing out a matchstick from his hot air balloon, and then an animation for the Noisey's being "Noisey_heat" which I think would have probably been an outside boss fight enemy along with the mentioned (in the video) heat meter. The dynamite stick was used to drop those boulders, which would be in the oregano desert level. Another thing in oregano desert would be the small rock Noise would push to minorly inconvenience you. Noiseys were originally in other levels, for example in dd9. The matchstick was used in fun farm to light up the also unused hay bays, and before fun farm existed it was also used in mansion, although you need to modify a bunch of code in the desert playtest build to see that in action
Fake Peppino was also at some point planned to appear after Pizza Time had ended, possibly replacing pizzaface. Depending on the demo played, what happens if he catches you ranges from damage to an instant time over death.
