Can you get the occurence again once you've beaten the curse ? Cause I know you can get it again in SU (and it does nothing lol), if you can't in DU it might be worth for two early 3 star blessings and getting better occurences in reward domains
I just want to vent a little bit. Them putting someone like SAM in DU is the dumbest thing ever. This mofo is a legit run-ender when you're on Protocol 8. Massive toughness bar, NEED very specific mechanic (massive SP consumption) of which only 2 characters in the game can do (QQ and DHIL), has massive speed, spends most of his time in 50% damage reduction and locked toughness bar, nukes your whole team into oblivion if your sustain is not named Aventurine, completely gimps your healing, and does unavoidable 50% of your HP the moment you consume an SP.
This! At this point they should've removed Sam instead of Aventurine boss. Aventurine was fine, I still don't know why they removed him. Sam counters so many equations just by existing. Like Silent Hunter, Abundance equations etc..
Yeah as someone who ran into sam 2 times in a row last patch on my p6 runs I agree completely. SAM is by far the hardest boss and there's very little counter to her. I remember specifically trying to do a blade double abundance run with flower of life and getting hard countered just from a boss that completely ruins the EQ gimmick. It's just beyond me as to why they felt the need to remove picking between two boss fights if there are going to be bosses that make certain equations useless. I think the direction they were going with DU was super interesting and the equations are fun to use, but the idea that "oh well if you run into a bad boss for your team you can just switch your team!" is EXTREMELY flawed when most high protocol runs DEPEND on heavily synergistic blessings, equations, weighted curios etc. Most of the time you don't have more than 1 best in slot team for your equation setup and if that team or eq setup is countered by a boss that you can't avoid you are just screwed. I'm very surprised they didn't change that this update but it's not like it makes DU unbeatable, just terrible quality of life and loses too many runs due strictly to rng.
I have the exact opposite issue. My account is very hunt focused(ratio, boothill) so I hate seeing other biases like cirrus and argenti who have so many mobs. With destruction and abundance blessings, I don’t have a hard time sustaining against Sam with Gallagher. Getting shields from blessings also makes it easier. I do agree though it’s terrible that they don’t even give you a choice of boss considering so many of them completely shut down certain play styles and can cause a run to end by no fault of the player
Should've removed SAM instead of Aventurine to be honest, she's so hard to beat without a sustain, you can't even have fun, you legit can't get through her AOE attacks.
Is it just me or Feixiao works different with brain in vat? Like other characters hit 2 times with ult, then they need to collect their energy. It goes to Acheron too. For example here 17:00, she has 100 brain in vat, but she can't ult yet, cuz she needs to collect crimson knots. But Feixiao can use her ult endlessly lol. Do you think it's a bug? 🤔
I've noticed that with acheron before and it might be a bug I'm not sure. I think maybe after using the last useless scholar ultimate it leaves acheron charged at 100 brain in a vat but not to be used until she uses another ultimate? I'm not really sure. It might be a thing where she can't ult more than two times in a row and it forces you to stack up an ult normally before using brain in a vat again, otherwise, with enough brain in a vat blessings you could perma ult over and over again from stacking it 0 to 100 every ult. It's most likely some sort of soft cap in that way but who knows
@@ethos728 That's what I'm saying. Acheron still has downtimes from ult, and she can't ult, she needs to build her stacks again, even though she charged brain in vat into 100. But Feixiao can do it. Like come on bro, allow my Acheron do endless ults as well 😭
@@elzmk Yeahh. As I remember it doesn't refresh after you attack the enemy. You still need to build Acheron stacks, collect energy for other teammates. But after playing Feixiao I noticed that she works very strange with brain in vat. She just keep refreshing brain in vat via breaking enemy's weakness/killing enemy. In the result she ults again and again. You can watch TwinB's previous run with Feixiao using Useless Scholar. And I can certainly say there is a HUGE difference between Acheron and Feixiao.

@@PenguinWithInternetAccess You can in DU, but the chances are not so high, maybe about 20-30% you might encounter it again.

Brain vat stays at 100 without ult when you've gained it after the attack already, so it doesn't refresh it

It's mostly because Feixiao has two ult charges, which allow her to stack BiaV with her first ult and refresh it on the other
