She passed away almost a year ago now, and hearing that menu music at the start of stream made me think of those good memories. The Special stage's custom music is a remix of Mario's Cement Factory (the version from Game and Watch Gallery 4), and the Sky stage's custom music is a remix of the old "Drawing Mario" song, which was also remixed into special world 8's theme in Mario 3D Land.
I saw this on the stream schedule and got so sad that I'm European and not in the right timezone to catch this stream. It looks incredibly cool, although I still haven't actually watched anything. I am now really glad that this is a vod. Thank you, Alpha

I am of two minds with this: This is the game style that GPB wanted: 2D Mario Multiplayer BUT It's also New Super Mario Bros... Still, I can't wait for GPB to hopefully be invited to one of these messes of a session. Getting closer to his home turf.
