My sweetie pie sleeps with me every night and I love it! I do have a lower bed as well as a ramp beside the bed for her. You made great points for both sides!
Mine sleeps with me. She's only 3 1/2 months old and from day one she whined and jumped up and down at the end of my bed, so of course I scooped her up and she was happy. I keep a small footstool in-between the bed and wall. She hops up on it, then onto the bed. She has no problem with jumping down at night and does so to pee and poo on her pads, then returns to bed. I'm so lucky she's so good already at such a young age. I can tell she's very smart and a quick learner.
I have a little set of steps for Dempsey to use, and he does sleep in my bed with me. However, there is just us and although he slept in a crate for the first week of so that I had him, it's freezing in Edinburgh during the winter and I like it that he sleeps in where I know it's warm. He doesn't sleep under the duvet all night but stretches out on top and snores his head off. I haven't slept a full night in years so sometimes we are both awake at 3a.m. and we just have a chat. 😂💖 He isn't urm ....a stinky dog, as in he doesn't do awful trouser trumpets so it's cool. 🙋 😘 All love. 💖💖
I have two sweetie pies....one prefers her own bed and the other is attached to my hip so he sleeps with me....I also have a 101 lb German Shepherd who prefers the couch in the livingroom.....thank goodness.....yes, I'm one of those too....LOL
Connie Holthaus awe, that’s so sweet, I love that you let each of them chose their favorite spot 😍 wow, I think I’d be grateful too about the shepherd preferring the couch 😂 imagine 101 pounds sleeping sideways in the bed lol
I said there was absolutely NO WAY my chihuahua puppy was sleeping in my bed, but the first night away from her mum and siblings she was not able to keep herself warm so she ended up with me and it never stopped! When I move around in my sleep she moves with me. When she wants to get down she comes to my face and lets me know to lift her down. Her balance and sense of height is very good. There is no "doggy smell" or shed fur as her coat is so thin, she is mostly indoors, and I look after her teeth/breath
I’m saving for my own chihuahua and when I get it he/she will sleep where my bedside table is! It’s close to me but no chance of “jumping of my bed” or “me rolling over it!
We usually sleep together but she also has her own bed in a crate next to my bed to sleep in. She can honestly be the worst sleeper 😂 she likes to sleep sideways and I underestimated how much room a 6 lb dog can take up when sideways. I was planning on having her sleep in her crate every night but my boyfriend insisted she sleeps with us! We are both light sleepers. She has only woken me up twice "asking" to go potty in the middle of the night, luckily.
Lauren P awe, she’s a good girl ❤️ (except the sideways sleeping position 😂) It’s so funny when it’s the men who have a super soft spot for their sweetie pies. I can’t tell you how many times a family has come to adopt a fur baby from me.... the woman all excited and the man acting like he can barely stand the idea..... and then I get texts from the woman later showing the truth of it..... sweetie pie cuddled next to HIM while he sleeps 😂 seriously it has happened so many times that I’ve come to expect it now. 😆
Sweetie Pie Pets so funny! My partner really didn’t want a dog but they were in love at first sight 😍 now that I work from home, he texts me to send him pictures of her during the day, haha
My 2 chis are with me all day, as I work from home. But they've been successfully crate trained and know that is there "safe haven" and bed. They choose their favorite blankets and snuggle together and sleep all night at 4 months ❣️
We love to sleep as a pack. My hubby literally can’t sleep without Judy in his arms. He has serious sleep disorders and says she’s like a natural sleeping pill. She loves it! She’s always between the two of us. We have stairs for her to come and go as she pleases. From time to time in the Vegas summer she’ll get hot and go lay on top of her own bed on the floor next to my side for a few hours. But for the most part, she sleeps with us. Oh, and she has her own pink piggy pillow in our bed too. 🤣
AC Williams that’s perfect, I love that you’ve made it safe for her with the stairs. And I LOVE that your hubby insists she sleep with you. AND 😂😂😂 I love that she has her own pillow ❤️
Our 5lb. Chihuahua sleeps with us, actually on My Shoulder most of the time, along with our 14yr. old 25lb. Boston Terrier, who is a real Bed Hog. Our Boston actually thinks it’s Her Bed & she just allows us to sleep in it! LOL Love My Babies.♥️💙💚💜💖
Samantha Chacon I would need to borrow your sweetie pie to make that video 😆 mine are all apple heads. Actually though I do have an apple head / deer head video in the works ❤️
My Sweetie Pie has stairs to get up and down off the bed. He mostly sleeps with me but sometimes he goes into his crate, the door is always open for him.
My sweetie pie sleeps between me and my DH. She sleeps with her tiny paws on us so when we moves she moves. She is 5.5 lbs of love puppy! She also sleeps all night long and is the last one out of bed🤣
100% my fur baby sleeps in my bed with me. I set up my bed low to the ground so my 5 lb baby can easy get on & off Yes, I’ve got motion lights so it’s 100% safe .. I think it’s about knowing how to properly care for them. My poodle gets groomed monthly so zero chance he’s dirty at all 💕
I've been watching your videos for a while now, I began during the lockdown here in Italy to help me with my cute chihuahua toy, but as Italian whenever I see someone drinking some wine I have to have some wine as well... let's say I hope I'll not become an alcoholic :P
My smoothhaired applehead teacup sweetypie sleeps with me,but I don't roll. Right between my legs on my leg wedge. And on my lap all day. She warns me of cat danger, and any other danger. She has access, with a stepstool, hamper, and then to the bed , and does the catering. She only goes out when we take her out 4 times a day, with us cause of hawks and owls. I am always within 3 to 5 feet of her and I take her most anywhere. We get to go get her teeth done next week, 6 years have had her, after speaking her out of a very sad situation in my pocket, a lb underweight and living under a house year round for her first 2 years of life, in Eastern Washington! Winters! My poor baby. She is spoiled rotten now.
My Rosie and I cuddle under a blanket on the couch each night. When I go to bed, she is in a deep sleep. I cover her up completely under the blanket and she is still asleep when I get up the next morning. I have had a lot of dogs in my life, usually two at a time and did not enjoy sleeping with two dogs and a husband at the same time. Much too crowded.
My chihuahua, Gunner, is also a Service Dog In Training. He wakes me up when I have a nightmare, or he has a nightmare, or to play, it’s a work in progress. You get the picture. Anyway it’s imperative that he be able to get to me if I do have a bad night. I’ve fixed up some stairs for him to go up and down if he wants to, to it’s safer.
I always sleep with my sweetie pie!!❤️🥰❤️🥰I am not a heavy sleeper so I have no worries in squishing her🤗I even have her own little spot at the edge of my bed🤗🥰🤗🥰I have no problem with her sleeping with me and she can get down on her own❤️❤️I loved the video and hope to see more amazing content🤗🥳🤗🥳#1fan❤️
My dog has both. She has her own bed but I let her sleep in my bed also. That's until she get grumpy cause I move and ''Wake her up'' then I put her in her own bed so she understand its a privilege's to sleep in mommy bed
I love sleeping with my Luci in bed under the covers but the other day she puked all over me and proceeded to lick it up in the middle of the night 🤦🏻♀️
Kelly, is there a potty pad in their night-time crate with just room to turn around, OR do you put them in their pen in the other room at night? Is the crate in your bedroom? I think you said in a previous video that you had a separate crate in your bedroom for night time. LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! I'd certainly join you in a glass of wine if closer! 😉 Hope for a sweetie pie after move & settled in new place. Love the way you socialize your babies before going to a new home & wish you were closer!
Hello, I love my sweetie pie’s little habitat area .I’ll likely be showing it in Thursdays video. It’s a large area big enough for them to walk around a little and it has an attached crate for their bathroom with a potty pad. They are very good at going to the potty crate to go to the bathroom.
@@SweetiePiePets Thank you for replying. 😊 I saw another video you did with the pen & crate attached for pottying. With a new puppy, do you keep the whole setup in your bedroom? Do they learn to hold it if pad is always available? Took 6 months, but using a similar setup for an elderly (almost 15) Maltese. She wants to sleep with me, but wakes me up to get down & go use her pad (in litterbox) several times a night. If I leave her in her pen she cries loudly or barks. Sheesh! Have to get her straightened out & move over before a new puppy. She rarely has accidents any more, but cannot wait when needs to go & its always been often!!! Anxious to get a Chi. Been researching for a year. Prayers for Ben & his patient Mommy!
@@southernlady8809 for mine I do leave a potty crate attached even after their fully trained. It’s just easier for me because I have a couple of them who can’t hold it all night like your Maltese. Mila likes to eat way too much .... which means she has to poop way too much 😅 I have their habitat set up in the family room rather than my bedroom. Downstairs is tile so not as difficult to clean if they have an accident. Good luck on your new sweetie pie puppy. I’m super excited for you. Let me know if you have more questions. ❤️❤️❤️
@@SweetiePiePets Thank you so much for sharing! You are much more than a responsible breeder, you care about the quality of life in your sweetie pies forever homes, & even if they did not come from you. My 15 yr old Maltese, Lacey, was my parents' dog & she ruled the roost. She would constantly bark at them when she wanted their food (or anything) & they rewarded her. Darci Flowers I recommend the first 5-in-1 around 8 weeks old or as soon as they are done nursing. While they’re nursing they’re receiving antibodies from mama’s milk and as soon as they’re done nursing, they need to build their own antibodies. Make sure to keep them safely inside away from other dogs or areas where a high concentration of dogs have been until he is completely immune 2 weeks after his final vaccination. They need a series of 3 shots, 3 weeks apart.

You look and sound like someone who would have Chihuahua(`s) as an accessories and decorations, but luckily you make good responsible points and give good advices. Very hard to watch and listen thou :)
Well, umm, 🤔 not certain how to respond. If my looks and sounds are offensive to you I’m not sure how to rectify that for you. I was born with them so I suppose I shouldn’t hate myself for them. I do love chihuahuas which were bred for the job of sitting on our laps (almost like an accessory). Feel free to find some other chihuahua channel if my looks and sounds are bothersome. Hugs to you 🤗

Hi Could do Like A Puppy Supplies List for Chihuahua Puppies Since I’ll be getting a chihuahua puppy soon ☺️ And Also 1. How to Build a Bond 2.How To Be A Pack Leader
