Foams are super durable material and also unique looking, worth every penny, I get compliments on mines,

This shoe release was crazy the mall I used to go to had tents and hundreds of people outside days before the release i noticed a shift in hype when the doernbecher 4s came out
I won't be copping these. Never was a fan of them. The royal blue foams, all white were a nice colorway but they were just too dang heavy, bulky but some folks liked it and they kept making corways and variations. I don't see this style selling out or reselling for more than $350. Sneaker game is dialing back on the resellers hyped up prices. Too many new jordans have dropped and are going under price or at the outlet within 2 weeks. Hope that answers this question. #trash can water guys

It's crazy though so many people still buy the og the eggplants sold so fast , they OG sell so fast I been lucky so far and been able to get all of them , and now my girl who not a sneaker head now wants all of the colors. Foams in DC was heavy in rotation since The beginning of the shoe. The hustlers in DC back in the day went out and bought this shoe. Especially at a time when this shoe start to sell at 165.00 in the 90s

for nostalgia sake, I’m copping the Royal Blue Foams that drop in September.. i wanted those joints so bad back in Summer ‘97 when they first came out.. but they were too damn expensive THEN… (you know we couldn’t fathom the thought of spending damn near $200 on a pair of kicks back then) plus i never got around to grabbing a pair the other times they dropped a retro.. but now i’m FOCUSED!! 😂😂 also copped the Anthracite Foams and Eggplant Foams this year for nostalgic sake… honestly i could care less about the Galaxy Foams.. wasn’t too crazy about’m then, still won’t be be they release. easy pass for me

People were paying crazy amounts when they first started retroing J's in the late 90's and early 00's.. When the Bred 4's originally retroed in '99 mfs were paying $1,000+ for them.. You couldn't buy them for under $500 on ebay.. Same with SB Dunks, the hype was there a decade before these Galaxy Foams dropped
That shoe was the most hyped and counterfeited Niqqaz was so pressed to have that damn shoe that they didn’t care where they came from. Corner stores was selling fake galaxies and selling out. Foams have always been niche. There’s people that love collecting foams in the same way that others love collecting Jordan 1s or Air Maxes. Feels like an east coast thing to be a foam fan. I’m from Texas, I never see foams.
Foams have always been over priced and there are too many other sneakers for less. I have hundreds of sneakers and hundreds that I haven’t worn yet. The only sneaker I TRIED to pay $250 for was the black Jordan 3 Rio
