Cars are disposable items these days, I only needs it to last five years at most..and all cars do last that long.
So I don’t see the appeal of a Japan “reliable” brand
@@Tomoyo0827 morning if you can afford to buy a new one every 5 years then you might as well get whatever you want. For people who hope to get the most out of their investment, some may lean toward brands deemed more reliable. Part of the issue related to parts availability in their country.

I love my land cruiser Prado 95 series i still have the car till now,i was born in 1995 but my car olsa model 1995 i buy from my friend ,i love to drive the engine still strong and comfort.now 2024

no brudda. do not just see the beauty of toyota from its esthetics. you will only see its true beauty when u stop servicing its engine and stop all maintenances on every moving parts. it just won't die even after 5 years. im not lying. coz basically i've just did that for the past 5 years. and later today im using it to work.

I do not understand the meaning of advertising a car as being good off-road, when 99.9% of people will never get that car off the pavement.
En mi país si se usan mucho para off Road, aunque la gente que suele comprar estos carros lo usan para ciudad y las Hilux para off road
Same case with many land rovers and G wagons, their tires never know what dirt is but still their advertisements shows a lot of it.
Car manufactures have complicated off road vehicles. In Africa for example, you need 4x4 vehicles but no need for many complications. The more complicated the more breakdowns and expensive to maintain. The old landcruisers with Manual gearbox are the best for offroad. Landrover missed the point with a very big margin with the new 2019 Defender. Off road is about simplicity. Suzuki Jimmy 2019 though small can perform better than the Prado on the advert.
Should condom companies stop advertising since it is common knowledge RAW is the more preferred?

My dream car
i have a used manual transmission1996 prado, bought it many years ago. wanna know the truth?
once i drove 300km without ALL the front right lower ball joint bolts, cruising normally at 130kmph on the highway. i realised it only the next day when i wanted to reverse and the wheel turned outwards and drag the tyre. cant find the bolts anywhere near (i assumed it dropped off on the highway) so i used wire and tied it just to hold it in place. well, its stil there until today.
also, i havent serviced or changed engine oil since 2018. just add oil if oil level is low. other minor issues are worn out front ball joints, broken front left suspension spring, worn oil seal which causes the 4th spark plug wire to drown in oil and stopped functioning. so im having only 3 functioning pistons currently. ohh and the fuse box got lighted up in flames due to improper connections of relays for spotlights which causes many wires below to melt and fused together since 3 years back. also the clutch pump is failing occasionally. air bubbles got inside but no worries, everytime it happens, just run over a deep pot hole and then it would be okay
so if u're askin why i didnt care to fix anything at all? well........ hmmmm.......naaaahhh... it's still alive. fully functioning as usual. acceleration's excellent. yea just let it be then. im sure it will heal itself. lol.

This vehicle is an in the US has a Toyota Prado. It’s a Lexus GX 460 and now they’re not gonna be putting the spare on the back.

You can buy a Lexus GX and it is 90% the same.
@@raminnazari6246 Yes, GX looks way better but the 2021 Prado is a better car in terms of MPG and updated technology such as infotainment system and new safety system. In general GX has been updated very little since 2010. Also Prado has 2 door version, I don't think Lexus offers 2 door GX.
I hope this one is more stable. The older versions have been killing guys due to the poor balance when turning at high speed or running over small objects like stones when on high speed and rolling over. Some people call it a death machine over here
I'm not sure a vehicle such as the Prado was designed with 'high-speed cornering' in my mind. You may have check another category for that. May I suggest the new Supra?

Here in Mozambique only politicians and their friends can afford to buy it! They are the only ones who have rights! The rest of us barely afford Japanese used sedans, which are cheaper but they become super expensive when they arrive at the port because of our highest taxes!
