Here is your Combo Guide for Manon in Street Fighter 6! The Fancy Footwork Grappler has a lot of interesting combo routes, and everything is in service to leveling up her Medal System. Some combos can be a bit tricky as if you wanna get more optimal damage, you need to start with slower moves like say her spin kick, but practice makes perfect. Hope this video helps you out!

FOREWARD:
Everything about Manon is about leveling up the medal system. Sometimes you will want do wasteful or unoptimal combos simply to get a medal levelup. Its ok, thats not a bad thing to do. Its all worth it when you do the grab that takes almost half their life off!

Here is our first proper Street Fighter 6 Combo Guide coverage for Manon! Manon combo structure is a little bit odd compared to the rest of the cast as its mostly either light hitconfirms, or gigantic punish counter combos, but little inbetween. Its all in service of the Medal System, as once you get a few level ups there your grabs become the main event. To that point, many of these combos actually become obsolete once the Medal System gets leveled up enough, as at which point just doing the grab does more damage! That said I hope this combo guide helps you out, and look forward to many more in time

She really is the blender character in this game because once set up with medal levels, who jeeds to spend meter in combos when you can spend it on drive rush oki
So normally there was an old rule on the Rooflemonger channel of, if you saw the combo guide, you could expect the big 40+ minute character guide going over everything with tons of tech and goodies coming a bit later. I cannot say this will always be the case for SF6 in the early months.... however this WILL BE THE CASE for Manon! I don't got an exact time frame just just yet, but Manon is going to be the very first Tips and Tricks guide for SF6, so look forward to that!

Not sure how many people know this but her EX hitgrab has upper body invulnerability and beats Marisa’s Superman punch and Honda’s Headbutt clean.
For once, doing the basic tutorials proved actually useful, as that is mentioned in there haha

great guide! As a beginner sf player its hard to watch other combo vids with what seems like 9999 combos from every situation and for me to absorb the right ones. Your videos are straight to the point and break it down to the simple bnbs and most important situations. Also explaining the combo tree so that people can explore other combo routes on their own is super helpful. Great vid

This my first SF since SF 2 Turbo back in the day. I'm just a day into it and using Manon rather than my go to Ryu/Ken mode that served me well back then. Loving it but finding it tricky so far. Ty for the guide.

I snagged some of these combos from your video and lemme tell you, I went from Silver 2 to Gold 4 in a few hours. I told myself I was gonna log off when I lost 2 sets in a row and it just didn't happen! That medium kick poke into the drive cancel works like a charm.

A little addition to this brilliant guide:
On a mid-screen Drive Impact, with a low medal level (1 or 2), you can do this :
4HP (still need to be delayed : hit when your opponent's knees hit the ground) > 236KK > 236MP
Not much more damage (3000), same cost (2 bars after the Drive Impact), but easier for people who have some trouble with Drive Rush, like me ^^.

Its insane how popular Manon is. I wanted to main her because I thought she would be a niche pick but literally half the content I see lately is Manon tech. Almost every creator and tons of big name players are starting with her.
She is a very strong character right now and not too difficult to use.

Weirdly, after messing around with the punish counter combo @3:58 you actually do 20 more damage by going straight to EX Degage and omitting the B+HP>Spin Kick section. You lose a little super meter and swag so the choice is clear.
I would prefer if moves were presented using the official names, like "Spin Kick" = "Grand fouetté". Using nicknames could confuse new players, in my opinion.
Other than that , thanks for the tips. And I must say that I appreciate the use of slower motion, because that makes this far more readable.
People know what that means, people don't even use the real names of the moves of the chars that have been around for 30 years. Nobody will ever call that move by its actual name
Lol I’m a pianist who works with ballet dancers and the combo names for this specific character actually is easier for me to know then these colloquial names. Great guide but I think major newbs like me with no fighting-game background can learn faster with the official names.

offtopic but anyone have information on how long does the yellow/red card lasts? i got dc'ed 3 times in a row in battlehub matches (atypical for me) and got a yellow card, I've played several games already and it's still there - i just want to grind ranked help

Combo guides are always made as pure info, no fluff. So no VO on them. I always make videos in the style i like watching them, and I find when people try to narrate combo videos it just wastes time
I’m new to street fighter and have been playing on the modern controls. It’s been fun but every character is at a disadvantage with moves on modern. Do you think I should learn classic?

Does the DP punish work on Ryu? i can't seem to get a DR into back HP
