Shopping campaigns are targeted with your actual Products and Product Categories, so the key is to make sure you have targeted keywords in your product descriptions. Search campaigns I recommend targeting as many relevant keywords as possible so it varies. I generally start campaigns with 100+ keywords and then organize them into Ad Groups so I can create targeted ads and send people to targeted landing pages. Some companies might have less than 50 keywords though depending on their products/services and I've worked with clients that have 1,000+ keywords.

Good question, sometimes adding additional content to a page can help that page rank for more long-tail keywords. For example, if I have a page about nautical bedding sets and I write about and add products for nautical quilts, duvet covers, sheets, twin bedding sets, king bedding sets, comforters, shams, and throw pillows, it can help that page rank for more keywords over time, which will help increase the impressions. Ultimately, I try to rank for as many search terms as possible while also improving my Average Position for those search terms.

He often refers to using (search traffic) in Google search console, I haven't been able to find (search traffic) in the left hand column of search console, he's got me lost, any ideas? Thank you! I'm probably going to upgrade to YoastSEO premium eventually, but the free version gives you plenty of functionality. I haven't used the premium version enough on my websites to know if it's worth the investment.
