im still so sad this map didnt get permanent, its literally amazing, Insane highlights are SO underrated, the best highights (other then szs) has been the insane ones.

While I do respect your opinion, I personally think Nos Astra would take the place of the best map. I do see the way that you can say this is the best map on the other hand
Nos Astra is Tria exclusive, right? Wouldn't feel fair to count it as it isn't even playable in the main game or CM. Although you are right, Nos Astra would be a contender.
i will disagree with you on the gameplay. personally, i found some of the jumps and the pacing to be too harsh for a map that is supposed to be rated 4.5 (since some jumps are quite long, which i feel like is pretty unordinary?) the pacing being fast is also a problem since the map requires you to rely on sight-reading. also, it's too difficult to get the escapee and still escape the map in solo, and i feel like the escapee locations should be moved in places where it takes less time. there's one variant that has an escapee where it doesn't waste much time, but is in an annoying spot. i definitely love the idea of the number of variants and them varying the gameplay from start to finish, but the gameplay inside those variants could use some fixing imo.
I do agree with you to an extent, I feel like the map could do with small nerfs here and there (mainly to the flood) and still be a 4.7/4.8 map. The idea of sight reading is kinda inevitable but the map is very easy to sight read so it adds to the fun IMO. I don't think the escapee locations are a problem (except for one of them which I miss a fair bit), I think that would be solved with a nerf to the flood rate.

Agreed, Runic Maze was one of the best map, yet, not permanent. Wish it was, thought. The variants make the map less repetitive and more fun tbh.

Yeah there's only a couple of Insane Highlights that I haven't liked. This one was peak obviously.

I found Runic Maze really fun because the variants would make it feel like a fresh new map so ur not just playing the same old boring gameplay.
