Was maybe true one week ago. My gain already stalled with 2 3950x, 6,5K H/S and looking at few hundred RTM. value is already decreased 30% from saturday. seem we are too late to the party folks. Was great back in August with 1000RTM a day with a single 5950X

I have a 1600w PSU which i believe should be plenty. any ideas why it randomly reboots?
Question for Rabid, my Inodez balance is not getting added to my Node, is there a minimum limit of 1000 RTM needed before it gets processed ? Thanks in advance for your response.
very nice vid as always. do you take off the graphicscards off during the mining process without any problems? Wondering if the system can run without graphiccards and without any issues. Thanks in advance for answering!
Running without a display is called _"headless mode"._ (Technically it means no mouse, keyboard, monitor, and GUI.) *It is perfectly fine.* (Closet) servers running Linux / BSD /etc. have been doing it for literally _decades_ as you "remote desktop" into the server. Running Windows headless is much more cranky to setup which is one of the reasons people run Linux headless since running headless has been supported for 30+ years. If you want to go to the next step and also run without a video card you will need to double check your motherboard manual to see if it allows booting without a GPU. You _may_ need to set a few BIOS settings: * ignore errors, and * enable VGA compatibility (where you use 64 - 128 MB of system RAM as a framebuffer.) It is easier to install & setup the OS with a GPU and then pull the GPU out after everything is running. If you don't want a video card another option is to get a CPU with an integrated GPU, called an APU such as Ryzen 5700G, etc. For AMD the "G" designation means the CPU has an integrated GPU, whereas the "X" means it doesn't. Be aware though that an APU may have a smaller L3 cache compared to a normal CPU which may impact performance. i.e. The 5700G has 16 MB L3 whereas the 5700X has 32 MB L3 cache. IIRC for CPU mining there isn't much too much difference but in other workloads the smaller cache size really hurts. Hope this helps.
One of the only options is a Pico-Psu (or China clone of it) in combination with a high wattage server power supply. This also is more efficient then a 80plus bronze per system and costs about the same if you make 4+ systems. Sadly industrial 12v only am4 boards are too expensive to pull this off without Pico Psu.
Thanks for the video, much appreciated. I received two of the exact same boards as you, got some nvme's and Ryzen 9 3900(non x) CPU's. Currently 1 x 16GB cli18 sticks per board. At the moment I am running stock freq on cpu's and have XMP 2 enabled for the ram. Each board has a gtx1660 mining via nicehash at the same time. I cannot for the love of me get the average rtm hashrate above 2.7kh/s. All the online calculators suggest I should get closer to 3.6KH/s. I would REALLY appreciate any suggestions please. Many thanks
@@RabidMining i tried but pc shuts off after a while, I suppose it's the standard wraith cooler not being good enough. I oc'd from the standard 3.1ghz to 3.6ghz but think the cpu gets too hot. Hey Rabid, nice job with all your videos!! I have a question, I built an 3900x for raptoreum mining, I follow up all your recommendations, and for some reason I'm mining 2.4kh/s average. I'm using the gigabyte B450M V2, 8GB RAM.
It's interesting you say your hash to watt ratio is worse with xmp. I would be willing to bet that's infinity fabric and not the actual ram OC from xmp. Maybe you should try xmp with fclk locked to 576. Or whatever the lowest is. The CPU shouldn't use more watts with lower latency. I'm thinking it has more to do with OCing the infinity fabric and that probably uses higher voltages. At least more than lower latencies being the possibility with a static core OC.
yes, those miners who are not pc nerd or amateur in the first place are sometimes clueless , and buying expensive cas14 , to run them as default and getting like cas18 ..? L O L
hard to say I am guessing it will hash the same maybe a bit more possibly as you are already utilizing all the threads will see more performances on Haven which uses more L3 then RTM limiting the MAX threads being used.
TR 3990X should be very similar in performance to Epyc 7h12. Maybe a bit better since it has a higher base and oc clock. My 7h12's are doing 12.81 KH/s average so there you go I'm guesstimating 13kh/s.
so I started mining on my gaming rig just to give myself a small footing and experience with how to mine this crypto currency, do you change the memory clock on the CPU or the infinity fabric clock, and on your (working)build from this video, what is your hashrate and power draw?
Running at 3.8 on 1.1v (1.0 seems unstable for me) but I cannot get it nowhere near 3500 h/s. My RAM is 3600 CL16 timings adjusted with DRAM calc. I'm wondering if my Gigabyte x570 UD is deficient or my 3900x won the anti-lottery (or is also deficient).
A quick question as i have no knowledge about this stuff at the moment. How long it takes before your TRM shows up in your Wallet and which trader would you suggest using for RTM ? Farming with a 5 3600 but i'm thinking about getting a 9 5900x and replace my old CPU
can use whatever is cheap cl14 is better though but nothing major I will be testing everything again as of 1.2+ has changed things which is why I didnt release my 3950x test yet it was on 1.1.9
I looked at xmrig benchmarks and the epyc processors are all rated higher than most ryzen processors. I dont ever see anyone using them on any videos. Is there a drawback or is it just price? @@RabidMining Do you need to use the aux 4 pin cable and the other 4 pin cable together to power the CPU with your configuration? This is like what I will be doing going forward. I have 12 more to build and get online here next week. I'll be ordering the parts here soon I figure. I can return the 500W PSU's
Be sure to use my links to parallel miner and amazon :) but on the picos ya I used both 4 pins
Hi rabid nice video. Like to get your thoughts on which to choose between 5900x vs 5950x for rtm mining. Is it really a big difference for the plus 200 usd cost of the 5950x? Thanks
Hey Rabid, been watching alot of your videos lately. Im looking to build a small footprint raptoreum miner as well. What small motherboard (itx or micro atx) board can run headless?
not sure what MBs I think most could
With those boards, is there a reason you couldn't set them up with 6GPUs to CPU and GPU mine on 1 board?
you can I just dont to save on hiveos fees.
@@RabidMining wouldn't it count a 1 rig still? Or because it's a CPU miner the monthly makes sense not to turn it into a GPU rig too?
Between the ryzen 9 3900x and ryzen 9 5950x is there a big difference? I found a 5950x the 3900x is out of stock atm
not a massive amount but the 5950x will get a bit better performance.
Was maybe true one week ago.
My gain already stalled with 2 3950x, 6,5K H/S and looking at few hundred RTM. value is already decreased 30% from saturday.
seem we are too late to the party folks. Was great back in August with 1000RTM a day with a single 5950X
How much do you make per Rig? What do you mine?
difficulty is going up was around 5-8USD a rig on raptoreum now its below 2 USD
@@RabidMining i see. Thank you for your review and honest response. Appreciate it
nice vid siir, nice rigs. what PSU use?
anything over 500w 450 will even work
Good, Man! How many avarage hashrate and how many daily profit with 1 3900x?
great video! quick question though. i have the same motherboard/cpu but my ram is CL18. i set the settings just like how you did here but after about 10 minutes my system reboots. i am mining 6x 3070 on ETH and my 3900x on RTM. I have a 1600w PSU which i believe should be plenty. any ideas why it randomly reboots?
I snatched the B550M steel legends on discount at $109 but will look into the x470 in your vids.
nice
Question for Rabid, my Inodez balance is not getting added to my Node, is there a minimum limit of 1000 RTM needed before it gets processed ? Thanks in advance for your response.
Great video thanks.
What wallet you use and exchange? Thanks
very nice vid as always. do you take off the graphicscards off during the mining process without any problems?
You _may_ need to set a few BIOS settings:
* ignore errors, and
* enable VGA compatibility (where you use 64 - 128 MB of system RAM as a framebuffer.)
It is easier to install & setup the OS with a GPU and then pull the GPU out after everything is running.
@@MichaelPohoreski Been running widows headless since '85 what's your issue? Got Pleb?
@@666hobart You've been running Windows *1.0* headless since 1985? Shill much?
Hi Rabid, another great video! Have you tested some Atx 24pin splitters to power 2 motherboards with only one power supply?
no sorry I have not yet will try to find some
One of the only options is a Pico-Psu (or China clone of it) in combination with a high wattage server power supply. This also is more efficient then a 80plus bronze per system and costs about the same if you make 4+ systems.
Sadly industrial 12v only am4 boards are too expensive to pull this off without Pico Psu.
Hey Rabid! Where are you still getting 3900x without getting scalped hard in Canada? Might want to get a 2nd CPU mining
at the moment I am not sure been looking but things arnt to bright lol
Many thanks
need to set an OC cant run default will result in lower hashrates and higher power consumptions.
@@RabidMining i tried but pc shuts off after a while, I suppose it's the standard wraith cooler not being good enough. I oc'd from the standard 3.1ghz to 3.6ghz but think the cpu gets too hot. I've only adjusted the multiplier.... Is that perhaps the reason? Should I adjust anything else? Thanks again for the response.

yup I seen a big fall off interesting
Sir ryzen 9 3950x and ryzen 9 3900x sitting is sim sim?
What does your power draw look like with 3.8ghz @ 1v?
Where did you get those sexy main board spacers?
You made them by urself? I'm looking for similar stuff to buy :|

thank you I 3d printed them from thingsverse
Ok ✅ 👆✍🏻
Is there any reason not to use these as GPU mining rigs as well? Other than the cost of course. Do you lose much in the way of CPU mining power when GPU mining on them?
no you can GPU mine as well just fine
What other motherboards can boot without gpu ? (I do have one for the inicial set up) The model you use it’s out of stock here in Portugal.
amigo con esta configuracion es necesario generar el archivo config o minar directamente con el minero, porfavor si puedes resolver mi duda, gracias y saludos.
Hey Rabid, nice job with all your videos!! I have a question, I built an 3900x for raptoreum mining, I follow up all your recommendations, and for some reason I'm mining 2.4kh/s average.
I'm using the gigabyte B450M V2, 8GB RAM.
it changes everyday just keep an eye on it.

nice to see a fellow canadian miner! but i dont know how you find these cpu at these price :P
very hard now full build looks over 1200 now lol
Do you have a video on on how to trade them for fiat ? That would be a nice addition
I missed how you’re getting hiveos onto the m2 sticks.
Currently waiting to the realse of the antminer s19 xp since the 140 terahashes
ya thats crazy
got a 5900x that keeps hashing low its running stock and not running hot u think i need to tune it
yes give it a tune
It's interesting you say your hash to watt ratio is worse with xmp. I would be willing to bet that's infinity fabric and not the actual ram OC from xmp. Maybe you should try xmp with fclk locked to 576. Or whatever the lowest is. The CPU shouldn't use more watts with lower latency. I'm thinking it has more to do with OCing the infinity fabric and that probably uses higher voltages. At least more than lower latencies being the possibility with a static core OC.
possibly
yes, those miners who are not pc nerd or amateur in the first place are sometimes clueless , and buying expensive cas14 , to run them as default and getting like cas18 ..? L O L
But why you buy FlareX 3200 cl14 if you are not going to use it at 3200mhz without xmp timings? It says Adjusted DRAM Frequency 2400mhz. I'm confused
latency is still lower
Great, now we all have to fight the gamers over these on Black Friday. Outtaaaa my way gamer kids!!! Old gamers have mining to do!! Rofl

Why is everyone getting the 3900x and not 5900x? Is the 3900 faster?
yes it does seem to perform a slight better also its last gen so its cheaper but over all they are both the same for mining.
i wonder how much will be profitable zen3d with 2-3x more cache and what prices will be with it
hard to say I am guessing it will hash the same maybe a bit more possibly as you are already utilizing all the threads will see more performances on Haven which uses more L3 then RTM limiting the MAX threads being used.
Man we need to find a mobo that supports CPU mining with MULTIPLE CPU sockets! One can dream..
you can in the expensive server grade options.

TR 3990X should be very similar in performance to Epyc 7h12. Maybe a bit better since it has a higher base and oc clock. My 7h12's are doing 12.81 KH/s average so there you go I'm guesstimating 13kh/s.

is there a good alternative to the wraith prism cooler that has the same height clearance but more quiet ?
not sure what are you running your CPU at the wraith prism is very quiet
A quick question as i have no knowledge about this stuff at the moment. How long it takes before your TRM shows up in your Wallet and which trader would you suggest using for RTM ?
