I have a funny story about the first time I ever heard this song. I heard it on my car radio while I was driving home. When I got home I heard the news that George Michael died. So I first heard this on the same day George died. It was eerie. He had a beautiful voice.
This is a total classic. First time I ever heard it was on the school bus on the way to school(10th grade) 1984. Merry Christmas Harri only the best wishes to you 🎄🎅🎁
One of my most favourite Christmas songs. While you’re reacting to George Michael, would love to see your reaction to the duet George Michael did with Aretha Franklin, “I knew you were waiting for me”. It is a wonderful example of two people who each had incredible vocal range. Story is that Freddy Mercury (who adored Aretha) was envious that George did the duet with her, claiming he would have done better. LOL. It is a masterpiece.
Thanks for this beautiful tribute to our dear George. Ironic that he passed alone in a Xmas day after letting us this jewel that we wrote when was almost a kid yet. 🥰
Great song...both looked good but Andrew was mainly Georges safety banket in that he didnt do much musically and mimed...George had so much talant but like many had self doubts etc...unlike many who forgot their nerves (Elvis is another example of having massive nerves etc before onstage but he said it seemed to go once he got going! Lol) George needed his friend beside him...sad but still a great band overal...George had such a beautiful voice RIP 🌹❣
Please listen if you haven’t already to the song he released in the 2000s called December Song. It’s kind of a throwback Christmas Melody. Beautiful lyrics and the video is animated which is also amazing.
Yes they sang beautifully together. I was a huge Wham fan back in college, and people seem to forget that there were 2 singers in Wham and not just George Michael. Andrew Ridgeley was such a great talent in his own right. Together they truly harmonized well!! Merry Christmas!
Have you heard about Whamageddon Harri? I belive it's very popular in Britain. Shortly the point is to mangane to avoid hearing this song between December 1 and Christmas Eve and if you do happens to hear it you shall post it on social medias using the #whamageddon! This one along with All i Want for Christmas (Mariah Carey), Do They Know it's Christmas (Band Aid), Mary's Boychild (Boney M) along with a few Swedish ones you hear several times a day during December in every store and most radio stations! Christmas comes but once a year!
The story about your daughter thinking it was a woman brings to mind an interview with George. Many years ago he said that often his boys can sound like a girls voice. He can kind of sound like a big girl. Meaning a mature woman but with a delicate voice. He always thought that’s what was appealing about his voice. But he himself admitted that he is voice could sound female.
2 couples 💑 in the video were real! Martin Kemp of Spandau Ballet + Shirley, backing singer for Wham! Andrew Ridgely + Keren Woodward of Bananarama. 🇬🇧 Written by, instruments played by, produced by and sung by the late George Michael. Backing vocal by Andrew Ridgely. This could have been Nr 1 for more weeks but Band Aid took that top spot. The problem was that George Michael sang in BOTH songs! L🤣L Earlier that same year. Thriller kept the Van Halen album 1984 from becoming the bestselling album. The late Eddie van Halen played in BOTH albums Halen! L🤣L RIP George Michael. 5 years since he passed away on his Last Christmas 🎄. Poetic justice ⚖ but tragic. 😢 Suggested Christmas video 📹 Bryan Adams. Christmas Time.🎄 Released in 1985. But official video is from last year, 2020.
Bwahahahahahahahhahah.....🤣 That would have to be the worst trolling I've ever come across. Don't give up your day job. You're probably a school kid which makes more sense.
@@Rage_Harder_Then_Relax No. I'm old enough to have heard "Last Christmas" a lot of times. Far too often, faaaaaar too often ... Over 130 chart weeks in Germany since 1984 are enough (always in the TOP 10 since 2016, this year at No.1). In general, modern Xmas-tracks have in my world the aura of tooth-pulling and the old ones are pretty spooky.
About 35 years later and still sing along every single time I hear it!!!
Its still my favourite Christmas song
Like you said Harri ..fantastic stuff and you are not wrong, this is a masterpiece. George Michael's finest moment..maybe? ❤🎄

Quintessential Brit Xmas jam to slow dance too .😊🎅

He's still alive working with white hats to to take down deep state you will see soon
Maybe a reaction to his solo Christmas song, December song.

I love the 80s British Christmas songs the best for that decade. This one, "Do they know its Christmas" and The Waitresses "Christmas Wrapping".
The Waitresses were an American band from Ohio
Merry Christmas!!! Hope it's a great one! Love this song!
Merry Christmas Harri and Family! Another good one is Chris Rea-Driving Home For Christmas! Maybe next year? Hope you had a wonderful day!

This is a great song. Harri, once again, I must comment on your wardrobe. That color and design is stunning. So cool! Merry Christmas 🎄🎁🌺✌️
Merry Christmas, Sir
Merry Christmas 🎄 I wrapped it up and sent it with a note saying I love ❤️ you I meant it 😍🌟⭐️✨
They had beautiful harmonies, didn't they?

Yes they were couples in real life but neither Martin Kemp or Keren Woodward were in the video.
I remember my sister wearing the crap outta her Last Christmas (Pudding mIx) tape. She used to play it all year round for a good 12 months at least.
Definitely check out frank sinatra’s jingle bells
Oh you haven’t heard this one before?
MY EAAARRRRRRSSSSS ARE BLEEEEEEEDINNNNNNGGGGG! 🤬🤢🤮
