4s! I set my keybinds so that they go forward every 4 frames. It's super efficient (and quite fun) because you don't have to worry about in-betweens and such. gonna do more of it fs!
This is amazing! 1:00 was very creative with "you are making this so difficult for me" and the lighting of the tunnels with the snails is amazing!!!! Love your content as always.
This is amazing! I love the choice for low-framerate, it almost gives the whole thing a claymation or even Spiderverse vibe! The shot compositions were so nice too, espcially 0:58. keep up the great work!! :D
This looks awesome!! I've been thoroughly enjoying your Hermitcraft and Life Series animations, but obviously take your time! Love the slower framerate style :>
Yo, nice video! This shot at 0:57 is really cool. One thing i will say though, (i don’t want this to sound rude, i just want to help your content) some of the cave scenes were a bit dark, but all together, think it’s a good video! Yo, people that are not acorn reading this comment who are interested in animation, go to the minimali store, it looks sick!
Yeah!! I actually noticed the contrast issue too late- waay too late. There's actually multiple errors including some frame transitions lookin real weird and MASSIVE compression, like unbearable. If anyone uses davinci, please put the render speed down to like 25. I don't know how to fix the compression thing but the contrast should look normal in the youtube short!
This style reminds me of the animation of grian yelling OBLITERATE! as a spell... are you that person? Also, im a sucker for low frame-rate/animatics lol I LOVE THIS!!
Yeah I'm sorry to say but, I think you might need to give this another attempt at this. It's not bad, but every other frame is a bit glitchy. I don't know if that was an error or if it was intentional, but you can see visible lines and the colors go a bit crazy. It makes it hard to watch.
100% agree- it was an export issue from davinci which ruined the grading and made those glitches you are talking about. sadly cant reupload it but the fixed version is on youtube shorts. Sorry about that!!
Fun Fact! This video was rendered in 4K and I completely forgot to export it in 4K. Whoops lol
🙃
So, you want to repost or...
Fascinating style by animating on 3s... 4s? Seems to change per circumstance, but super unique. Nice work :D

What's the original video?
grians Wild life ep3: THE IMMORTAL SNAIL
It would be neat if you linked to the original video footage timestamp.
This was so good, I loved the look of the hair and the facial expressions. So well done.
