To date, this remains the last Panthers playoff win.
This video still hurts. Even after 2 seasons, I can't help but feel sad and awful while reliving this horrific experience. We had the opportunities, but didn't take them. When we scored our td, making it 7-17 and then stopped Carolina on 3rd, I was really excited. Then at 1:58 when I thought our offense was gonna put up more points the following drive, our returner fumbled it, killing the momentum we had. Also that Palmer interception late in the 2nd quarter. This is a nightmare to relive. What hurts more than the loss is that this might have been our last chance to get Larry a ring

Number 1 offense and number 3 defense. Mvp of the year at qb and defensive player of the year at MLB and coach of the year along with a ridiculous amount of pro bowlers and more swagger than the league has ever seen.. the 2013 broncos were a great team no question but not even close to the 2015 panthers. +Mackiavelli Brooks I agree with all that you've said. However, I feel Ginn is quick enough that if he's used in the slot, you could see him get open on speed alone a few times. Also, I think the Arizona game was proof that our defense (and the whole team for that matter) won't play conservative with a huge lead. We got away with it against Seattle, but it was enough to wake everyone up to realize that they can't play like they did in that second half.
This was probably the last chance to get my 2 favorite teams to play in the SB against each other. ( patriots and cardinals )
Oddly enough, both of those teams got struck bad by the injury bug toward the end of the season

I think the Panthers have a really good shot to make a legitimate Super Bowl run coming up this 2019 season. People count us out...less than average wide outs, average o-line, good defense, and good backfield. A lot of it rests in Cam. Sure he had a shoulder injury last year that needed surgery (which went very well btw and had Cam throwing & throwing well much quicker than thought). But keep in mind, we were playing great the first half of last season...we went 6-2 (should have beat Redskins to really be 7-1) but we’re at a great start at 6-2 nonetheless. We had great wins against great teams, had a heart pounding come from behind last second win at Philly...and our only 2 losses came by 1 score or less..very close. After a great 6-2 start where Cam was putting up very good numbers with incredible accuracy for Cam (some were saying I’f he kept it up or slightly improved over second half of season he could be in the mix for MVP again). The o-line came together well and of course Christian McCaffrey improved on his great rookie year with even more rushes/catches for way more total yards, more total TDs and overall more impact on the team en route to his Pro-Bowl/All-Pro season which has him listed as the #3 best RB in the NFL coming into 2019 season. I predict the Panthers are due for a resurgence. I don’t necessarily mean 2015 form where we went 15-1, Cam won, MVP, destroyed almost all teams by double digits or more, rolled through the playoffs to SB 50 (only to lose but that’s not the point). But I do think we’ll win the NFC South, get a playoff bye, and have a great SB shot. I predict a record of 11-5 (which will be good enough to win a weakened NFC South division as I think the Falcons will have a mediocre year at 9-7, Buccaneers will be bad yet again under J. Winston at 4-12 or 5-11 and the big prediction of the Saints totally falling apart after the departure of All pro center Unger, Pro Bowler M. Ingraham, 3 defensive starters, and 2 asst coaches...plus the biggest factor of the devastating ROBBERY they suffered in last years NFC Champ game where a SB birth was essentially stolen from them by the refs and one bad yet hugely impactful non-call. I think they won’t get over it totally for years to come and it will haunt them especially bad next year. They’ll have a bad losing season at 7-9 which will lead to questions being asked about Bree’s age, both head coordinators and even Coach Payton himself. 11-5 will win it for us

+ThatKidWitTheAfro I think it's more that QB's like Palmer haven't learned from past experiences how to excell in the Playoffs like how quickly Cam has from his past 3 post seasons and the other SB winning QBs have. QBs like Carson just don't progress to be a true leader in playoffs only show up in games that have little significance but to get to the playoffs. Palmer, Dalton, Tony Romo, Philip Rivers, and Matt Ryan are all in the same boat to fail in the post-season. Don't got that next level 'it' factor.

The Chiefs had a significantly better offense and they were on fire with 10 straight wins, even if the Texans offensive showed up, they probably wouldn't have scored more than 20 points against KCs above average D. And the Chiefs were heavily favored to win that game. I predicted the Chiefs to win 24 - 13 and the game played out like I thought (the Texans offense would hardly show up and the Chiefs would slowly put on points) but I never would have thought it would be a shutout.
