whiteKOOLAID55 it’s so hard having to try and adapt to surviving in new ways, like using something other than a furnace to smelt ore. I know what you mean, I played the Xbox 360 version with no updates to it.
Mod creators: lets have the players have to build an actual structure that sorta looks like a blast furnace! Mojang: Creates a blast furnace that's literally a single block.
Man this update actually made me want to play versions beyond 1.8. Normally when im playing mulitplayer I always go in 1.8.9, and rarely 1.9 to fly elytra/see new commands.
Minecraft got a tad bit boring after creative mode was introduced. - People who would make HUGE buildings on survival mode only do it on creative mode now. So survival games are less entertaining because you're less likely to stumble on a random castle that spans multiple chunks or a glass biome dome on the ocean floor. You still get some good builds, but nobody takes the time to make giant structures like that anymore unless they have creative mode. Or at least it's rarer to see. So in my personal opinion that was the only negative thing Minecraft had done. Besides that, yeah. Every minecraft update has made the game better and better. Shame they couldn't update things quicker or add more things. This update and the sea life update were the best updates we've had in a long time. Looks like they finally got their heads out of their arses.
@@djw07williams84 Then they took it off for survival. And then they added a creative mode alongside the survival. In my opinion making the game survival was the best thing they did. Adding the creative mode was the worst thing they did.
@@bakersmileyface the CREATIVE mode. Its for creative people who want to build, not survive and grind for blocks. @@nightskiezz7664 Yeah but I just preferred it when people took the time to do these things on survival because survival was where the fun's at for me, that's all. I don't even know how I landed on a Minecraft video, haven't watched one in years.
I think for the next update they should add more animals like, ostriches for the savannah/acacia biome, and sharks! I would also look forward to some new dimensions.
@@SomeChez Maybe a heaven like dimension. The Nether is pretty much hell, so I think something like heaven would be nice. Maybe some new mobs would spawn there too, like Angel's or something :P

Something cool I found with the campfires is to use it for chimneys 1 make your chimney 2 put a block 2 blocks from the top 3 place your campfire on that block 4 ENJOY
Logdotzip My favorite is definitely the campfires. There super helpful in terms of finding your way back home AND you can use it to start cooking food before you can make a furnace. I don’t know why you wouldn’t have a furnace, but it’s super helpful! Update: thx for the heart logdotzip! I’ve been a fan for a long time and it really means a lot to me!
What do you mean what do you mean? The nether is super boring, an occasional repetitive nether fortress here and there or maybe a ghast but otherwise it just exists too be in between you and the end which at least looks kind of cool.
If minecraft continues to make sick updates like this, then minecraft May become popular again. Og youtubers are returning , groups (eg cube) are reuniting . My childhood is coming back❤️
Verified Dragon I suppose some of the stuff is complicated, but it all has its place that makes improvements to the game. I enjoy the new changes, especially because it’s been so long since the last large update like this.
The Fletching table and Smithing table are purely a job block. You can't interact with it, but it gives an unemployed villager the job corresponding to that block. Same with the new "workbenches" like grindstone, cartography table, and even the smoker and blast furnace. Each gives a specific job to a villager.

I dont know why, but this feels more like a modpack than an actual Minecraft update.
I agree. It feels strange
I know, right...
I know right, especially the new textures. While it's a change to what we got used to, it's nice to see this game progress.
The game is too updated :/..like why we need all these villagers for
yeah, it feels strange...
mojang listens to their community more than epic does with fortnite
MaxSFilms it’s actually the other way around
@@rizzy6087 yea
@@rizzy6087 no its really not, the whole fortnite community has been begging for fov slider, siphon revert, bug fixes that have been in the game for up to 4 seasons, bouncers back because they were enjoyable, but what do they do about it? let you pet the dogs on peoples backs
MaxSFilms there’s reasons why they took bouncers out of the game, They took away stretched res and fov slider so everyone in a even playing field and you can’t just “fix” bugs it’s harder than you think
@@deadrabbitv275 yeah but they can get rid of the custom fov in a matter of days but my guns still auto shoot after 4 plus seasons?

As a city builder this update was great. Those campfires make incredible smokestack effects. Retrofitting was a nightmare though.

A blast furnace in real life is definitely a thing you don’t want to be near when smelting....

Thank god being next to lava, wolves, bears, exploding TNTs and tribals in real life is fine. No, wait...
Mod creators: lets have the players have to build an actual structure that sorta looks like a blast furnace!
Mojang: Creates a blast furnace that's literally a single block.
Its called a blast furnace for a reason

Adding realism in Minecraft makes it boring
Unpopular opinion: every minecraft update has just made the game better and better
@@bakersmileyface creative was first
@@djw07williams84 Then they took it off for survival. And then they added a creative mode alongside the survival.
In my opinion making the game survival was the best thing they did. Adding the creative mode was the worst thing they did.
@@bakersmileyface the CREATIVE mode. Its for creative people who want to build, not survive and grind for blocks. For example Grian,he said that he barely played in the survival version but that doesnt make the game less entertaining for him. I also enjoy the creative mode more because i can do whatever i like without having to survive and die all the time
@@nightskiezz7664 Yeah but I just preferred it when people took the time to do these things on survival because survival was where the fun's at for me, that's all.
I just personally find creative mode incredibly boring.

I think for the next update they should add more animals like, ostriches for the savannah/acacia biome, and sharks! I would also look forward to some new dimensions.
In the biome chooser we chose between Taiga, Savanna, and Desert. Mojang did say all three were coming, that would be a nice idea actually.
@@Charles-yi3mx Thanks man
But what kind of dimensions should they add?

By the way the dandilion suspicious stew is saturation which makes it the best food source in the game

The Fletching table and Smithing table are purely a job block. You can't interact with it, but it gives an unemployed villager the job corresponding to that block.
