Having my Ooni Karu 12 and finally someone to show hot to clean before cooking pizzas!! Yes i know i also have manual and etc how all to do it, but ofc it's easy when someone shows!! P.S. as for table, we have some round middle glasy tabl and some woden board on top so should be fine 🤔🤷♂️(as keeping on balcony) Thanks Kev' cheers from Ireland🇮🇪🍀🍺
Did you close the vent (with cap?) to put out the flame? Also, what size table? Just got a Karu 16, didn't even consider I needed somewhere to put it 😂
I don’t close the vent I just put the cap on top after the fuel has extinguished a bit. Then I use heat resistant gloves and take the fuel basket out with the hot embers and choke the flame by closing it in my Weber grill with the vents closed and cover on. The table is 36 inches by 24 inches. You can get them relatively inexpensively online.
It took about 20 minutes in this video but can take longer depending on how much fuel you add and when and also outside temp. I added more charcoal about 10 minutes after lighting and then wood.

Cheers! The manual is pretty straightforward but it never hurts to have a visual representation as well.

How long did it take you to get up to 935°? And how many times did you have to feed the fire to get it to top temperature?
