Thanks so much! I'm about to go buy one and you just showed me that it will do exactly what I need. I feel like I just rented a husband for 8 minutes to advise me on this equipment hahahaha. Hugs and ty so much again.
That is Awesome! And it was a pleasure being a rental for 8 minutes. 😊 I am glad the video helped. Keep in mind. If you have any doubts on purchasing one. You can always rent one and try it out first.
Can"t see which brand of tiller that is. Looks like a direct rip off of a Merry Tiller. If you just want to take off the sod, leave your wheels down and drop the drag stake 1 or 2 notches below the wheels. Having the wheels down for the first few passes will make it much easier to control the machine !
That helped a lot….I did not know I was supposed to lift the rear wheels up and out of way! I got exhausted today trying my new machine the wrong way…thanks👌😊
I have a Ariens RT524c that is great for gardening it can be used to remove crabgrass. Although my triller is a older model. I think that I would purchase a less expensive tiller for crabgrass.
I basically use the anchor to control my speed. Some may use it also for making lines. If that's the case. You can rise and lower it according to how deep you want your lines.
What do you do with all the weeds? Don’t they just grow back if you don’t remove them? Or does filling it remove it also? I got a lot of weeds that look like grass. So tilling would be great. But wouldn’t they just grow right back even though they get pulled from the root.
It depends on what you are tilling for. If it's for a garden. Tilling will give you control to do what you want with the ground or yard. Grass and weeds will continue to grow. Least you will have a head start managing it. Picking weeds by the roots is very helpful. Fighting Weeds will always be a job.
THANK GOD! it's fall in Pa. I'm lifting old weed Mat and moldy mulch and recycling it through my yard. I was told mulch can cause terminates! I almost flipped when I heard it! Especially if it's right by your house! I will till it. Next spring it will be ready for beautiful flowers. I put the weed Mat down in 2020. So everything is organic and especially DEAD! I'll plant beautiful flowers with no need for a Mat or trim now. My Spade will handle it, and now I'll just have to pick weeds here and there. Thank God I'm finally ready. I looked everywhere to see if I could hit the bad grass spots in the back while I have everything out. May as well! Not ONE place would tell me if it's OK to till old dead grass! Unreal! Ask a question, can not get the answer! This awesome guy just showed me! All right! All the grass I wanted to re plant are dead. I have patches everywhere. Dead grass is all that's left now. I thatched it and weeds are gone. I waited a full month to make sure it the soil was clean. And FINALLY I know I can till the old grass! THANK! YOU! Great video
Amazing video! Also you have a thick ass Baltimore accent 😂😂
Thank you this was so helpful!!! Rented one from Home Depot and no one at the register knew how to use it haha!🤣
Excellent demonstration, good to see the anchor used properly.
Good video, most people get the anchor (depth gauge) importance wrong. It’s the key to working smart. Thx

It’s an Ariens. They make wayyyy better machinery.
Just what I needed to know without the bollog added, thanks for that! Renting this same machine today.
Thanks for explaining it! I’m going to try it. Any other gardening help please post

👍
This will be my best deal in this huge yard of hard clay and weeds.
Quality content. Thanks for helping us.
Using one this weekend thank you for the demonstration!
What should you do if your dirt has a lot of rocks in it? Can u use this still to cull the weeds?
Yes you can, but make sure you are wearing safety glasses. I have known for rocks to kick in your face sometimes.
Well made video, only thing I can say is the anchor was also meant for attachments like a plough
My Lawn Chief tiller has a plow on the drag bar.
GRACIAS,GRACIAS, GRACIAS
Thank you!
Thanks for highlighting the importance of the anchor
👍
What kind of tiller do you have? Will that work to remove crabgrass?

6 mins in I think the outside cutter is on the wrong side excellent video
To bad the outer tines are on backwards
Thanks!
Great video sir!
Thank you!
So the higher the drag is out of the soil the deeper your tines will go?

Hey nice video..I thinking about purchasing a tiller but my land is slope will be a problem
You should be fine 👌
Great video!
Thank you! 😊
why did he raise the wheels up, is'nt hard to move
You only need the wheels to move the Tiller around when not using. You use your blades to move the Triller in dirt.
