When I saw 2 Periscopes i was excited thinking they finally developed a 15x periscope. Seems like that will have to wait. Great phone though. And as usual a well made review 💯

Good thing Nokia and Oppo signed some agreement for 5G patents, meaning that the Find X series will come back to the EU market soon
I hope so. I can't wait to replace my X2 and the S24 looks the same as the S23
I'd like of the companies find a way for bringing back the LED notification light. This is one of the reason why I'm having difficulty giving up my K20 Pro.
Honestly it doesn't feel much of an upgrade over the X6 pro. Sure it has newer sensors now but newer isnt always better. The find x6 pro would have a price reduction now and I feel its gonna be a better deal
Funny enough, i feel the same, the pictures seems much better on previous version.
this phone basically fixes 2 of the Find X6 Pro's biggest "flaws", long range zoom and only "good" battery. The battery is now great (considering GSMarena's test) and long range zoom imo is better than the S24 Ultra by default because Oppo is the processing king now. A The other flaws they could've tried to fix are the availability, this is a phone I wish were available globally, the S24+ can burn in a ditch this is the more important phone and finally the temps, the Find X phones are camera centric phones yeah but Vivo has been killing it in terms of temperatures and fps in games as well with their X series. Oppo's Find X phones get hot and drop fps (according to notebookcheck and gsmarena). The performance seems good here though, considering other phones struggle just as much with the SD 8 gen 3
@@kaiserfakinaway5909 yeah. I agree on most of that. Availability was and is always the issue on the find x phones. Even though you want to buy it you mostly just default to buying a samsung or an iphone or pixel because they are available anywhere. I dont mind the temps tbh because I dont really play mobile games. I focus more on the camera performance. Ill just have to wait for a camera comparison between the find x7 ultra vs other flagships before I can say my final conclusions
@@kaiserfakinaway5909 Is oppo really the processing king? I haven't been impressed with any of the images coming out of the x7 ultra. The xiaomi 14 pro/13ultra seems to do a much better job and the vivo x100 pro seems to be the best processing overall and with zoom even matches or exceeds the oppo with a shorter focal length periscope

How is 7a doing ? After updates? Heating issues, how is the battery backup, network issue? Would it be a good buy in 2024 at around 35k , I am not a gamer though.

Why do companies not use CONTINUOUS ZOOM like Sony does in Xperia ?
Optical Zoom from 3x to 5x would be such an amazing thing.
Especially for companies like Samsung, who don't need to give 2 separate lenses amd optimize for them separately.

im not a fan of this huge camera module... i like the equal sized camera rings vertically alligned like in galaxy s series.... you can make these camera rings more appealing by using steel rings...
and flat display with almost zero bezels.. super ultra thin bezels

I’ve buy the Blue one 16/512GB variant from my experience this device is a camera that have a phone my last phone is Vivo x90 Pro+ between both of them i like more on Zeiss Natural mode more but this Oppo X7U is more like all round camera that happens to have a phone in it. 😂 to bad there’s no global some people might have problem with China rom but in my country in SEA region I have no problem using it 5G band is compatible the only problem is there’s no google voice or google auto other than that other Google services is function like any other android phone.
I love how one plus and oppo make the same phones so this is basically the one plus 12 for 800$
Believe me, 1+12 is nowhere near X7 Ultra.

They should also mention the cons when you buy a china exclusive phone like this oppo find x ultra.
I can do that:
1. Only some languages are available nad not all options are translated (so occasionaly You will see some Chinese on the screen here and there, but not in any crucial settings etc. Mostly in some preinstaleld aps).
2. Some CH bloatware remains - nothing that would make your life harder, most of it can be uninstalled / hidden.
3. Blocked launcher - so you will not be able to make 3rd party launchers (like Nova) your default launcher.
4. I didn't see Netflix and Disney+ on google play available. But there is a way. Install it on other phone and use phone copy app (or phone clone, I don't remember now) . There you will be able to choose apps you want to be copied. And voila :))
And that's it for now. I have X7 Ultra for 2 days now, and well ... I'm selling my Samsung S23 Ultra.

For now Vivo > Oppo > 1+ 12. But it can change with future software actualisations as Oppo has better hardware.
