I really liked how Viktor said that a young Indian player like Priyanshu has everything to loose if he lost a match. I think that is something people don’t get about Indian sportspersons. They don’t have the kind of social support or the freedom of choice and welfare that a country like Denmark offers. If your badminton career flops, then to pull yourself out of the hole is quite different in India than Denmark. I think being a Dane is truly the best thing. Having the best of welfare for free and have time for his wife/gf and their kids. Being Dane is definitely part of the reason why loss is not devastating for him. Of course a part of that is he has known that loss happens and learns from it.
I recently started playing badminton again after 2 decades of hiatus. Watch all of your videos both for learning purposes and for entertainment. I wanted to say the video quality gets better and better.

That match against Ginting was amazing. I confess that I am more of a Ginting fan because I am closer to him in stature. So I was cheering him on. When you started to gain points in the third set I was biting my nails. And then the controversy happened with the net kill. I think that the break in momentum to address the issue was a huge factor in you losing that third set. Obviously it was a big moment and I think it is time hawk eye is used in such a tight call. Great insights. You are a legend. Thank you for all the work to do to popularize badminton.
