How obvious can they be here? Too bad Curtis Blaydes is a "company man," and won't raise hell about the fact that he put so much pressure on Tom that his knee gave out and demand that the rematch be held in the U.S. Curtis Blaydes is making a huge mistake here. He could've made strict demands since he won the 1st fight.
Curtis Blaydes is a wonderful guy, but in terms of marketing, it wouldn't be good for him to be the champion. He doesn't seem to like marketing or speaking on camera at all.

@@r8m8s8No he wouldn't because he was getting PPV revenue you clown. If Bisping fought at UK time he wouldn't have sold a fraction of the PPVs that he did and would have made significantly less money. It makes absolutely no sense to do this at UK time, which is why the UK has Fight Nights.
This is still better for the fans in attendance than travelling to vegas to watch it, otherwise the arena wouldn't be sold out, so yes it is better for the UK fans than the PPV being elsewhere.
Want a PPV calibre card and not want to travel to Vegas? Sure stay up late for 1 night of the year. Can't do that? Watch the PPV late at night on TV like you'd normally have to do.
This effects nobody other than the fans in attendance, who wouldn't be there if they didn't want to be.

Pretty sure Tom has been trained under Ben Davidson? There's some speculation that Tom Aspinall is actually Jon Fury's son. Tom mysteriously grew up training with the Fury family, and has sparred many years with Tyson Fury. Tom's genetic gift of athleticism is actually pretty similar to Tyson Fury. I don't know, but I think Ben Davidson was probably there during the time when Tyson Fury had hired Ben as his manager.
