- Here is a cover of the masterful Jeff Beck's Freeway Jam, joined by the phenomenal Logan Ellis Sheppard (drums), Santiago LaRochelle (keys) and Gabriel Severn (bass).

yes, this cover was outstanding, but ironically jeff beck said he hated the song. go figure.
I'm familiar with Ayla's brilliance, but I'm still shocked by this cover. All the technique in the world doesn't enable you to do justice to Beck's music. Her tone crafting and phrasing is exceptional. She deserves a hot band like this.

The future is in good hands with musicians like these four carrying the torch. These are
some heavy players with gobs of talent and chops galore. And Ayla is a force of nature on
guitar. Huge musical gifts.

Sometimes I feel that bands post their music with self-promotion as their main motive; and of course, the desire for exposure is part of it. But I can sense your love and respect for the music and for the original artist Mr. Beck, and the spirit of generosity in sharing the inherent beauty of the piece. If I could see you perform this live, I'd applaud very sincerely.

Holy smokes.... I've listened to Jeff Beck from the age of 14 to this day's age of 56. This was an an amazing job that all of y'all performed. I closed my eyes & cranked it up. It was perfect. Y'all should go on tour!

Every aspect of this tune is a CLASSIC FUSION JAZZ & ROCK STANDARD.
(My comments from Logan's Channel) I'm 54 years old, and this is the music of my youth and early influences. So many of my friends lament the state of music today and the lack of musicianship, with so much sampling, looping, autotuning, etc. You kids though are like a ray of sunshine breaking through the dismal clouds, shining on a beautiful grove of trees and a sparkling pond, surrounded by a bleak landscape. The spark is still there. There is hope for the future. Ayla, I've been watching you since the cover of "Since I've Been Loving You" as you ripped that Les Paul for all it's worth. This warms my soul. Real musicians playing real music. There is no substitute.
Ive been following ATM since that Led zeppelin cover too when she was 14 and played like someone 20 years her senior. Im a 61 year hobbyist guitarist and Im in total agreement with everything you wrote . See my comment above.
