this is honestly my goal in learning guitar. i just love how much they are enjoying themselves and making those guitar sing! could anyone tell me how to get on the route to play like this.
Time, practice, time, more time, and even more practice lol
I would recommend getting into all the old blues masters. Jeff Beck, Muddy waters, Freddy King, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Angus Young, Jimi Page, Eric Clapton, Leslie West, ect. ... And study / practice hard. It will come with time.

Learn THE SCALE, really well, all over the neck. learn how chord shapes fit over it
play chord tones
practice always with a metronome
% of the time you need to be 'practicing', not 'playing', which means you play FUCKING slowly. (emphasis for the benefit of my heedless former self). idc who you are or what you think, youre not practicing slow enough
When I was in music school, a teacher once said that when you hear a great player improvise, it's never the first time they've played what you're hearing. Meaning, they string together scales, licks, etc. that they've already practiced in new and exciting ways.
To consolidate some of the other advice folks have given in these replies, learn your scales (I would try looking up the CAGED system - helped me a lot in connecting the notes across the guitar neck). Also, as someone else said, listen to the old blues masters, and try to transcribe the solos that they are playing. most importantly, if they play a lick that you really like, learn how to play that lick in every key. Once you've built up your arsenal of scales and licks, you can have a ton of fun jamming with other folks.
This just makes me so happy everytime i see it. I would love to have someone to jam with like that.

これあかん奴やん！出だしからしてめっちゃイケてるけど、時間を追うごとにどんどんカッコよくなって、ちょっと中ダルになるかと思ったら、そんなこと全くなく、テンポやリズムの強弱がついていて、最後にしっかりと決めてフィニッシュ。まるで短編映画見ていたみたいな気分になる。
