By each voting for their own nation, or the one closest geographically, the votes were dispersed, and Italy benefited because very few judges gave it "zero votes". I think this will be the preview of what's really going to happen!

If we had one juror from every participating country then it would make sense to do it that way. But this way people simply vote their own taste. Plenty of people didn't give points to their country.

I didn't see Greece coming so close - ...Zari is a grower but while the jury and public in this competiton had the time to learn to love such a daring song - most of the new audience won't have that chance. Then the voting from this public - how did they vote? If Italians were allowed to vote for Italy, of course Angelina's got plenty of direct votes from a much bigger population than e.g. Greece, Switzerland and Croatia.
It's going to be a much closer competition than this.
